I've heard people who fought & sparred with Khabib say that he is deceptively fast and hard to hit. His standup is good, but his ground game is otherworldly.
One thing consistently misunderstood is Khabib has an iron chin. Literally his standup game becomes more effective simply because of that and the consistent threat of the takedown.
That changes the entire fight psychology.
