They knew from the beginning. In fact, it was evident that the research was a corroboration between the US and China. Likely involving the "agencies" as it is unlikely that funding from American government agencies, like the NIH could have been under the radar. Even if it was under the radar it means there were officials breaching regulations. Where are they and why are there no prosecutions or talks of it. This is indeed a deep tragedy in the lives of global citizens rivaled only by the "response to a pandemic." Both instances have resulted in devastating consequences the extent of which can not be comprehended. To define this as evil would be to understate it. God have mercy.
So it takes four years to find out that NIH doesn't know how their own grant money is being spent. Reminds me of the Iran-Contra affair back in the 80's; everyone knew except Congress.

This is completely a case of parishioners and mid-level scribes believing that the Chief Priests are pure and beyond sin while they fellowshipped with those worshipping other gods. Doing the right thing after a revelation of the obvious facts is supposed to be some kind of accomplishment when the government does so months if not years after the fact.
I am an apartment manager and I had 2 different tenants pass away because of respiratory issues with in a 24 hour period Dec 31 2018 and Jan 1 2019. Also I had a bad cough that lasted several months Jan, Feb and March 2019 and so did someone else. These things make me wonder if covid didn't break out a year earlier but was never discovered.
I had a close neighbor who had been fighting it from decades 2019 and died feb 2, 2020. They thought it was some kind of persistent pneumonia

The virus was present in China earlier than reported, and it was already politicized when people protested the idea of restricting flights from China. As far as my friend goes, you are right, they couldn’t test him because there was no test at the time. But his symptoms were identical to Covid.

Isn't it normal that WIV submitted results, reports and samples to sponsors at some point, i..e. to EcohEALTH Alliace and perhaps others, to audit the work performed , prior to publishing the results or do further research...? So sponsors should have known well prior to the Cov outbreak (of whatever scenario), what has been going on in the WIV.?
