Playing For Change is a wonderful idea and organisation. Some huge names have given their time to these collaborations. This is the kind of thing that should happen more. I've been introduced to so many new artists as a result of watching these videos.
This is one of Playing for Change's best covers. But their best is The Weight, It's so good there's a two-part video about making it. Playing for Change is a multimedia music project and foundation with the purpose of connecting the world through music. The project brings together musicians from different cultures, backgrounds, and locations to collaborate on songs and performances. Through the power of music, Playing for Change aims to promote peace, unity, and positive social change by transcending borders and celebrating the shared humanity of people around the globe. The project also supports music education programs and initiatives to empower communities through music, believing in its ability to inspire, uplift, and bridge divides.
My favorite is "When the Levee Breaks" with John Paul Jones, the bassist for Led Zeppelin. It's probably because it's the first Playing For Change song I heard. I'd suggest checking out Santana and his wife, Cindy, or maybe Peter Gabriel. All of the songs are so good. Kudos to the engineers who put this together. It is seamless.
That was a very enjoyable song and a fantastic reaction! I enjoyed it so much that I just subscribed to the Playing for Change channel...looks like lots of great stuff!
So glad you liked that one That was just the tip of the iceberg. There's plenty more. Warren hayes played with the almond brothers band. There are a lot of songs done with covers. Featuring artists like Carlos Santana, Cat Stevens John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin. And many more.
If you like All Along The Watchtower, please try the Bear McCreary version from Battlestar Galactica. It's a great reimagining and was pretty key to the plot of the show.
Great cover, excellent musicians & good reaction (as always) Wagakki Band is famous for mixing traditional and modern instruments. Homura & Akatsuki no Ito (1st Japan Tour 2015 Hibiya Yagai Ongakudo) probably best intro to them
Just found your channel and subbed! Great reactions! Check out "When the Levee Breaks" You will love it. Yes, Playing for Change uses artists from all over the world. So much fun!! Do more!!
I have an album suggestion for you to listen to on your own. It is by a band from NYC called Mad Ball. The album is "Look My Way." It is a hard core / hard rock band. The songs have strong messages.

Totally agree about how good "The Weight" is, but I'm a bit biased because Larkin Poe is on it 😁
@@Stuski666 yes, they are amazing! "What key is it in Robbie" says Ringo Starr the drummer. I love the entire thing.

The almond brothers were nuts 😂

On of my favorite songs performed in a beautiful, moving and wholesome way 🥰💯💫
Thanks! Hope you are having a positive day...
Their oldest video is 15 years ago so I am guessing they have well over 100 songs. Their versions of songs are always memorable.
This is why reactors are the best. So much new music I never would have come across
❤ from North East England ❤️

I am beginning to think Freckled Cheesecake is my favorite flavor.

I have a question. In your band Neckbeard Noose, is your boyfriend/husband the other vocalist in the band?
yes. it's his project really, I'm just there to help make it a reality 😊
How come you haven’t done anymore The Warning reactions 🥲
I've been trying to catch up on donation reactions I've gotten behind on 😅 I have one for the warning coming up next week 😊

if Jimi Hendrix can dance and wiggle around while performing this song, I don't see why I can't while listening to it.
