I've got one very similar...1987 Toyota New Horizon Motorhome 22RE with everything that this one has except I removed my Roof A/C, as it weighed too much and used a ton of Electricity even tho it cooled great !I recently bought a small 6000btu window unit A/C for it that uses 1/4 the amount of electricity....good for my Solar Panels (not included)...My exterior isn't as nice as this one... as I did a lot of waterproofing on the windows and other moulding...but my price is a little lower because of that... Personally, I don't care too much about it looking beautiful...Functionality is my thing. Mine is a 22RE Automatic transmission with Overdrive with 85,000 miles...everything works ! $4500.00 in Oregon.

Lovely looking Dolphin motorhome. I hope it went to a good owner. I'd buy one if I had someone to share the travel experience. :)

My buddy had one and it has a beautiful camper but it's gutless without a V8..its good for the flatlands but up here in the Rockies it couldn't make it up the mountain especially if your living in it cause your gonna have twice the weight onboard. I got a 3.9 liter v8 in my Chinook and it cooks...no matter how much weight is in it😎

Let me tell you PEOPLE!!! The rest of the story to this story!!! Don't buy one at any price!!!
    1. No INSTALLATION!!! Man you better buy a generator fast!!! And be under a shade tree at all times!!! And keep the aircondioner running full blast!!! Because it's going to be really hot in side!!! And if you are in really hot territory and you are out in the sun!!! Even with the aircondioner on its so hot inside that the only way you can stay halfway cool is stand right in front of the fan of the aircondioner!!!
    2. Don't let anything break or you there's a dam good chance you won't beable to find it EITHER new or used!!! The brakes are terrible!!! At about 25,000 to 35,000 miles I had to replace every part of the break system and the brakes are scary!!! So bad you have to be very careful every step of the way!!!
    3. They really don't as good of gas mileage as people say!!!
    4. Powerless!!! I meam powerless!!!
I was on my way to Mount Baldy and even in low gear and around the corners it would not go!!! Because of a lack of power!!! And yes it runs good!!! Really good!!!
    5. The air conditioner stop working because electrical part of the RV stop supplying the necessary AC. Can't find parts or some to repair!!! They to old and can't get parts!!!
    6. Same thing with the furnace!!! They to old and can't get parts!!!
Instead of sitting lever it sits like its heaver one the right side!!!
    7. The windows are hard to open and close!!!
Just don't buy it!!! Especially if you are going to live in it!!! You will be so sorry!!! Believe me!!!
Hey I didn't say anything about the cold!!! Damn its cold!!! Better have that furnace fixed!!! If you can!!! Don't buy it!!!

This is the most absurd evaluation of a 1980's class C Toyota I've ever read..... Did you write this with the underlying intent of keeping others from snagging them up before you could? If so genius. If not, I truly question your experience in terms of parts availability etc as there is a strong healthy community individuals all over this country in Canada who will gladly steer you in the direction of the right parts of which are available either new or fairly priced second hand.
In terms of the engine itself, there's nothing obscure about it and it remains one of the most desirable versatile power plants in it's class to this day. There's not a part for that you could not go into a Toyota dealership online or anywhere else to acquire. And, well certain OEM restoration parts for specific third party items within the camper might have stupid price tags on em, at no point are you beholden to any of that assuming your intentions are not so quality vehicle but a camper meant to be used as it was intended
