Thanks Gunny, been waiting for this review after your teaser on IG, perfect timing too as I have the Sata rep coming in today to have a demo of this gun. If its as good as your review im sure there will be one ordered by the end of the day 😊

You can just adjust your fluid output back some for the same effect... as far as metallics go,,, 1.3 with the fine pearls and metallics are a must.... 1.4 can get you there faster however if gun set right
@@killadelphia215I use sagola 4600 xtreme 1.3xl with the dvr clear cap and it’s an absolute monster. I spray daily. Puts out an amazing finish. I’ve tried sata and I went with the sagola. Speed wise sagola is the fastest gun.
You should try the new Iwata WS400 serie 2 either 1.2hd or 1.3hd. I think it's way better than the old one. But I I would like to test that 1.3cc sata first before buying one those .
@@MoltenKing992 the DV1 has its place now for me. Like I do a lot of motorcycle repaint and now for me that’s where I will grab my DV1. But with this new Sata CC it will be my complete for the cars I do. The CC feels almost effortlessly to setup and the way it sprays is so AWESOME.
Hi I’m spraying 255 glazurit on a respay 3 coats what’s the best gun setting on a sata jet 5500 1.3 I cap and should I thin the clear out more than 10% thanks
Smart looking gun that. Only ever used one SATA and that was an old msb or MSP (I think) I'd love to see a refreshed mini gun review if there were enough new models to do one. I have an old Sri in a 1.2 that sprays like a full size gun and to change it to a 1.0 I reckon I could get a whole new gun but which one??? Keep up the good work!
Cheers chap, nice video very helpful, Just need to save up £700 for a trip to spray guns direct 🤪 It’s time for an upgrade for my fairground lacquering sessions 😎
Hi Gunny, well mate this is perfect timing as I have the new 1.3cc setup (Aircap, nozzle and needle) arriving today for my Sata X5500 RP Digital which will make it the same as the gun you reviewed here, I'm often looking to get the flattest finish possible so if this is better than the T110 then I'll be happy👌👍John UK
Couldnt you swap out a different nozzle set from the 5500 line up. Like the 1.2 O? I just odered this gun, ive been on a 4000 and wanted something new, couldnt decide bewteen the two. I figure if i don't love it i can always get a different nozzle set.
Yeah I’d like to find out gunny’s views also on this, I have mine in a 1.3 I and if it’s not much different I can’t really justify the £220 for a new setup
I was told by my sata guy over here n the states that gun no good for clears we use over here only good for clears for what u use over that . Well I don’t know but that what I was told
I have this 1.3 i cc and the 1.3 i normal setup. The fluid tip on the 1.3 I cc is the same size as the 1.2 I setup. The normal 1.3 I has a larger fluid tip. This gun is slow and gives a very nice finish.
Hey man, not sure if it was me but I dropped the quality of the vdeio from 1080p to 720p because mostly for the start the video had bad frame or stuttering effect. Hard to explain exactly, maybe the camera was just having one of those days, not an issue just some feedback, happy to watch anything from you! Maybe the tradesmen would appreicate more tetsing or differnt settings if possible for gun reviews, up you you cheers. Maybe do a video on WaterBorne VS Solvent and its differences and pros cons and so on,
Hi, i also have sata 5500 with 1.2i and 1.3i set. What do you think about the new CC is it worth it or its not so diffrent than 1.2I nozzle set. Thanks
No surprise here, nice one communist Canada. Just buy from the link in the video description, they ship really fast from the UK and have very competitive prices.
Sp supplies and spraygunsdirect has them. You might have to wait a couple weeks for them to get them back in stock. Otherwise you can buy the 1.3cc nozzle kit and put it on the normal 5500
I’ve been using a SATA 5000 & 5500 1.2 RP (i pattern fan) for clearcoats, (Solvent base Glasurit & Baslac) & just wondering if there is really a big difference with this new gun, or just marketing hype? The 1.2 i pattern puts down MS clearcoat like glass, & HS with very minimal peel, so you really need to concentrate on making sure you don’t lay it down better than the factory finish. Not sure how much better this new SATA gun could possibly be unless it’s a faster application speed which is my only complaint with my current SATA clearcoat guns.
I am an amateur. I have been spraying clear with a Bellaria and am getting good results. Two things. My pressure regulators are all showing different pressure. I have a new Devillbiss regulator that reads 5 lbs while the others indicate 25 +-3 lbs. Are the built in digital regulators accurate? Would this be the gun for custom paint?

Sata is doing now what Devilbiss was doing 10 years ago :)))
I like the looks of the red sata. Its different. Ive had guns with swivels and changed them out with a fixed fitting. Drove me nuts
Thanks Gunny, been waiting for this review after your teaser on IG, perfect timing too as I have the Sata rep coming in today to have a demo of this gun. If its as good as your review im sure there will be one ordered by the end of the day 😊
I find it perfect for the 105 clear I use.

Another way u can prevent dye back in 3 stage pearls was by adding 3080 hardener into the basecoat i used to do it with the spies hecker paint brand
Sure but if you do that with PPG the clear coat might peel off. But just letting the water base dry out more might be the solution
@@svenwenngren2342basecoat hardener generally goes in the ground coat
I'd sure like to see a head to head with the CC and the DV1 clear as both dedicated clear guns.
I'm not a Fanboy... but nothing beats Sata when it comes to clearcoat finish. Great Job Gunny😉

Could you do a current top basecoat and clear coat in your opinion and why
So, the fluid tip on the 1.3 cc is actually about the same as the 1.2 i. The 1.3 i has a larger fluid tip.
Stunning finish indeed ! Yup, I'm sold on it. Got to have a Sata cc 1.3 ! And a Sagola 4600 extreme Titania of course. 🔥👍🏼

It's a different clear than most, so 21 seconds. I know it sounds slow, but this clear flows. So that helps it.

Wouldn't be the best option. Unless you add some extra thinners
