Love making potato salad in my crockpot. You cook the diced potatoes & eggs in the instant pot 4 minutes. Drain the water & peel your eggs & whammo done. Spaghetti & roast & ribs are great also.
Thank you for this. When my ex-husband moved to Spain he handed his instant pot to me. But he didn't have any booklets with instructions and recipes. I desperately needed this video
OMG, I never see anyone else who uses Natures Seasoning! I have been using it for at least 20 years! I've also been using my instant pot for years. I love it! Thznk you for not calling it an insta pot 😅
When you use the saute Instant Pot feature, wait until the pot beeps that it's hot and ready before adding ingredients to saute. When you are done sauteing - be sure to scrape down any browned bits on the bottom of the pan or you will get an "Burn" error message.
I LOVE my instant pot!!!!! I use it all the time!!! I was intimidated at first, then I remembered the Six Sisters Stuff teaches you how to use it!! If I forget to take meat out of the freezer, I just take it out when I'm about to cook and put everything in it that I'm going to cook, and it's done in less than 30 minutes!!!! You need to get one!!!!
Ooops!!! I cook chicken thighs, bone in, with 1 cup of rice, water to cover the rice, spices, and a veggie and it's done in 30 minutes!!!! You can even cook lasagna soup in it, or use a regular pot. It's easy!!!! ❤❤
The bloopers at the end were cute. Relax nice lady, dont be so hard on yourself! Your recipes look great ! Just subscribed. Cant wait to try them!

I made ribs in my instant pot 😊 I put the rack that comes with the instant pot in the pot and you can either wrap the ribs around the pan or cut them. I use 2 packs of ribs for our family. Put in 1 cup of water or chicken broth. Cook on pressure cooker for 25 minutes. Let it steam release it self. Put them on a baking sheet with some barbecue sauce and put them under the broiler for 5 minutes Enjoy 😊
@ValerieHargett just a heads up, when you do insta pot recipes for pressure cooking, they can be done in all pressure cookers. I have a few Ninja pressure cookers and found out insta pot recipes work in them without any changes to the recipe. I thought I would share that because I learned it a few years ago and it changed and helped me out more using my pressure cooker. Hope this helps. Love your channel, keep up the great work with different devices!!!!!
I’m always excited to watch but when I saw “instant pot” I did a back flip, well not really but in my mind I did😝 All I ever use mine for is to make hard boiled eggs and pasta with meatballs, I needed to learn new recipes and I do that best by watching others do it first👍👍👍 I’m excited to try these recipes, they all look amazing😋 TYFS, I appreciate you so much🥰 Have a blessed day/week🙏♥️💫✨👼🏻✨💫♥️🙏
I Love ❤️ my instant pot 😋. I had mine for a couple years before I finally took it out of the box 📦 😅. Since then... it gets frequently used. My hubby calls it the magic pot 🎩 ✨️ because everything I've made in it has turned out beautifully. ❤
I have a 10qt insta pot I got several years ago on New Years Eve and cooked black eye peas and ham hocks for New Years. I use it many times a week. Love the fact if I forgot to defrost something I can still cook it that night!!!
I like to add a bag of fresh bean sprouts to my Egg Roll bowl. Otherwise, I fix it the same way you do. I ALWAYS use my IP when making potato salad. I lay the eggs on top of the unpeeled potatoes and pressure 5 minutes, let it sit for 5 minutes, then add to ice water for 5 minutes. Even fresh farm eggs peel easily. The potatoes need to cool awhile longer before peeling and dicing. Love your videos ❤
I absolutely love my Instant Pot! I use it at least 4 times a week for various things. So glad to see you used it and loved it! Keep coming with the great recipes! 🌺 Jen
i always add seasoning as my ground beef , chicken , etc is browning as it awakens the herbs while being browned , and after that if i need more seasoning i add as i go with rest of ingred!! ty for sharing these recipes with us Valerie!!
Good timing for this video. Just last week I finally opened/used my Instant Pot that I bought a few years back. I cooked a 6lb pork shoulder that was so delicious and quick to cook in the IP. I look forward to trying more recipes.
I use my Ninja Cookers all the time. I’ve found that store brand pasta works the best in all the recipes I’ve done. Another tip is to use just a slight bit less of water for al dente pasta and when you rehear]t it it’s perfect.
Just recently came across your channel and I am loving it!!! I am actually looking forward to making some of these for my family. It's very rare that I find an Instant Pot recipe that looks good lately.
I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO SEE MORE INSTPOT VIDEOS. I THINK THE CABBAGE ONE COULD BE USED THE NEXT DAY IN A CRAP WITH MORE CHEESE ADDED. I CAN'T HAVE CREAM CHEESE SO I WOULD LIKE MORE VIDEOS WITHOUT CREAM CHEESE. THANK YOU SO MUCH AND KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB.
Thanks for showing us how to work an instant pot, I've got two I've always been intimidated by it😂😂scared to death don't know WUY but this looks kinda simple, I'm thinking I was always just worried about that steam button 😊❤
I love my Insta pot. Just need to get a bigger size. It makes everything so quick and tasty. Can’t wait to see more videos. Thanks for sharing as always.❤️
So thankful for this instant pot video I really enjoyed this, would love for a dedicated instant pot day, you know like Taco Tuesday, Instant Pot Wednesday type deal, lol, JK, I know these videos are a lot of hard work and you are very good at it. Thanks for sharing the recipes and I really look forward to more of these. Love your channel.
I love my instant pot, but I find very few recipes for the 3 quart single size. My daughter has the 8 quart, but got the 3 quart for side dishes (veggies, rice , mashed potatoes,)! I’d love to see the recipes modified for single servings as the larger portions would take me a week to finish, or toss because I couldn’t finish it soon enough. Thank you.
I have a pressure cooker but i wasn't as comfortable cooking with it so I got myself a insta pot and it's great I especially love cooking eggs & any kinda bean 45 minutes for beans yes please
NOTE: the link for the Cheese Beef Pasta is actually the same link for the Ziti. Thank You for saying Instant Pot and not instapot. There is no product called instapot. TIP: if people have the model where you have to move the dial to Seal or Vent, use a white out pen to mark with an “S” &”V”. I am short and could not see without getting on my tiptoes. My newer ones are automatic. Yes, I now have 3 different sizes; a 3 qt, 6 qt & 8 qt but I, too kept mine in the unopened box for 4 months. I gave one to my daughter and waited for her to try it and report back to me. In the meantime, I watched every Instant Pot TH-cam video there was back then. TH-cam is a wonderful teaching tools. Thank you for your videos.
I think so many of us are afraid to use a new appliance that we've never used it before. I found a pressure cooker for an amazing price and bought it on a whim. I think it was about 8 months before I attempted to use it. I took it to my sister's house because she had used the old fashion pressure cooker that sat on the stove. We took it out of the box and started reading the instructions. We cooked a meal in it and washed it out then cooked another meal! She loved it so much that she ended up getting one for herself. We both love our pressure coolers and we use it often. I've seen so many people who were afraid to use the pressure cooker because of years ago when the old style sometimes exploded. These new electric pressure cookers have so many safety features that guard against explosions. I've taken a frozen whole chicken out of the freezer and put it directly into the pressure cooker. No thawing is needed! The whole chicken cooked beautifully in a short time and I made several meals from it. I'm still catching up on your videos and I run across some every day. I'm enjoying your recipes very much and getting some good ideas! So if you see me commenting on some of your older videos, it's just me binge watching your videos!😋
I absolutely love mine! Use it all the time. My cocker spaniel has an allergy to animal protein, so I make his dog food and my Insta Pot is the hero in that regard. I cook a variety of lentils, grains, potatoes and other veggies for Mr Malcom. Great video!
I have a delicious beef roast recipe that I make in the instant pot. Roast 1 tsp. Thyme 1 tsp. Rosemary 1 tbsp. Minced garlic 2 pkgs. Onion soup mix 2 pkgs. Beef gravy mix 1 c. Water Put 1 c. Water, your spices, 1 pkg. Of onion soup mix, and your roast. Put your other pack of onion soup mix on top of the roast. Set your instant pot on high pressure for 2 1/2 hours. Quick release. Take roast out. With remaining liquid, put your instant pot on saute. Mix two pkgs. Of the gravy mix until it becomes thick. Enjoy!
I cook 4 or 5 pounds of meat at a time. Separate to pound packages. That way when I want to fix something I have my meat ready. Quick fix for all kinds of recipes.
A chef once told me to drain your meat and then season it but watch your measurements. That's all I know so far. I'm learning too. I hope that helps Or Google it.

In your chicken and wild rice soup recipe, how did you get the chicken shredded so nicely?
Two forks or Temu has some cheap meat shredders they look like two big forks. Works vey good.

Valerie, I’m the only one in my family that likes cabbage, so my question is, will this reheat well in the microwave? It looks so delicious!!
😷💚
So sad,I don’t have an instant pot.
You put the wrong recipe for the ground beef noodle cream of mushroom and cheese.

Mines still in the box from 5 Christmases ago 🫢 Thanks for the motivation to give it a try!
