I have compiled a list of Hallmark Christmas movies that were filmed in the small town I used to live in outside of Ottawa before I moved west at the Federal Government's expense. Most people would know Almonte, Ontario as the birthplace of the inventor or basketball, Dr. James Naismith. But since 2016, maybe earlier, the town has been used for over a dozen of Hallmark Christmas movies. One had Tim Reid from WKRP in Cincinnati in it (and featured a house my parents almost bought but didn't because of repair costs). Another had Tom Arnold (who sounded like he had the worst cold in his life), and Fran Drescher appeared in one as well. Lately, Almonte has been the filming location for summer Hallmark movies too. It's a beautiful town and I hope it continues to be used for movies like this (even though the storylines are identical in all of them).
In Germany, some of the common Christmas movies are: Home Alone 1 and 2, Die Hard 1 and 2 (yes, Die Hard is shown a lot on Christmas) and Coming to America. More traditional Christmas movies shown are a movie adaptation of Little Lord Fauntleroy (in German: Der kleine Lord), and a Czechoslovakian-East German adaptation of Cinderella called "Three Wishes for Cinderella (in German: Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel; in Czech: Tři oříšky pro Popelku)". Before the fall of the Iron Curtain, that movie became very popular in West Germany as well.
Love your pods ...you're 100% correct ....want to start a war ??? !!!! Ask: which came first , the chicken or the egg !!!!!!!!!..........wait for it :)) That California Christmas wasn't bad enough...they made a sequel ... California Christmas City lights ...ugh. The very merriest of Christmas's to you .... looking forward to your live chat on Christmas day ..
I'll have to dig around but have you done a favorite Christmas Music list? Most of the Christmas music I listen to is either The Reverend Horton Heat or The Brian Setzer Orchestra
Better Off Dead starring John Cusack is technically a Christmas movie. The Godfather is technically a Christmas movie. Dear Santa starring Jack Black which came out this year is ok.
Owensboro, Kentucky is known for lamb barbecue, and there are two main restaurants in town serving it. Supposedly, one is for Republicans and the other for Democrats. I kid you not.
AEW has too many wrestlers. People show up, get over, and just disappear. Remember “Send Hook!”, “Hookhausen”, or just Dannhausen in general? AEW also has the problem that despite being a huge wrestling fan Tony Khan doesn’t seem to care one bit about characters or stories. For the first few years, the promotion managed to include all despite Tony, but he’s stopped it not. Also losing CM Punk was a huge blow.
The Ultimatum sounds like the dregs of reality tv (which should tell you something). Are people that starved for attention and/or money that they'd agree to go on a show like that or are they actually convinced it will somehow fix their relationships?
"You like the sun do ya? You prick!" That one got me!

Want a Christmas movie. Try this Australian one “ Christmess “
Not sure if you’ll get it though.
So sad to see how New Day treated Big E. I’m hoping he’s been medically cleared, and this is a setup for his return.

The Godfather covers two to three decades and is technically a Christmas movie?

Shannon, do you knw about Telus Optik TV deleting WWE Network before the end of the year (along with other channel shut down and rebrandings)?

If NASA had a team would they be called the Voyagers?
The Ultimatum sound silly. They need to bring The Blame Game back.
The MTV version
I would love to hear Hockey guys take on political environment in Canada right now. Does he have a channel where he talks about current events.
Never going to happen.
@NotTheHockeyGuy He will never talk about his own country? Well ok.
