    Glad this was on today, after doing Chris's nails, I'm still working on mine. Cut natural nails filed off most of the fiber gel. Have the medium full cover almonds on in clear. Still over thinking the design. Lol it's been hours.

      I hope you post pics on discord or insta to show what you do with them! I know they'll be beautiful once you figure out what you do! I can't wait to see!

    is that a coarse or medium safety bit?

    • @victoriakillman9862
      @victoriakillman9862 ปีที่แล้ว

      Coarse safety but he was using. They have medium also. They usually use that to get gel polish off the natural nail if you're not comfortable to use the coarse safety bit!

    I would love it if you would cover or explain the art of nail filigree. The S and C overlap design.

    • @catpride1323
      @catpride1323 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think I've ever seen them do filigree nail art. ..
      But if they do a video on it - I am so watching it.. !!! 😊
      Actually, I'd like to see Greg do some more nail art...
      I know Greg says the fundamentals are more important and he's focused on teaching right now - but he is a fantastic nail artist !!
      But Greg does some of the best 3D nail art in the business... and I'd love to see Greg do some more 3D nail art again... hint hint !! 😊

    When prepping for full coverage tips, do you have to remove all previous product down to the natural nail?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It would depend on what is on the nails. If there is Fiber Gel and that’s what you are using to re-apply the new tips, you can leave a thin layer of that. If there is acrylic or other bulky product, it’s best to remove the majority of that product.

    I've used a regular file to take off the fake nails
    I'm just very careful at filling.... it does take a bit more time

    What is the best removal process when they are the full coverage tips on with acrylic or gel!!

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We always remove with our e-file over soaking. Also, if you apply full cover tips with hard gel, you can't soak them off as hard gel does not soak.

    Do you have to soak off the nail if you want to add another full coverage tip?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would want to completely remove the left over tip before placing a new one.

    Once there is damage to the natural nails 💅 will they grow back healthy if you just use cuticle oil and I am wondering if you would recommend putting a thin layer of your Mani Q with keratin in it to stop any more damage and breakage at free edge and as it grows do you recommend to cut them back to the start of the free edge

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  ปีที่แล้ว

      If the damage is only to the nail plate (hard nail surface), this will generally grow out over time. If there is damage to the matrix (where the nail cells are produced) or nail bed areas, this can be permanent damage that may not grow out. To protect the nail plate from further damage/splitting/peeling, you can apply the Fiber Gel or ManiQ and continue to fill it as the nail grows out. Cuticle oil will help to keep the nail plate hydrated and flexible a the damage grows out as well, but neither of these products will "repair" damage.

    Do you recommend protein bond with this system?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are our no well tips that were applied on Tracey with hard gel on top. We always use protein bond when doing a set like this.

    Why did you recommend Sugar Nail Oil, instead of the Rose cuticle oil?
    Rose oil has a page long of attributes and benefits, and has been with Young Nails from the start.
    I remember the story of your mother and the hand pick petals for the bottle.
    So why would your recommend Sugar over it?
    What is the sugar oil made of?
    What does it do for You?
    What is its benefits??
    Please explain 😊

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  ปีที่แล้ว

      He doesn't recommend one over the other. He just decided to use the citrus sugar oil this time.
      If you are wanting SDS for any of our products you can email shane@youngnails.com and she will help you out.

    I have a question- my daughter gets gel polish about every 3 weeks or so. I just hand file the gel polish off. I bearly file her natural nail. But when she goes in to the light it burns her bad. I use protein bond. What makes this happen? Thanks.

    So you filled the nail 💅 after you top coated with the Mani q with keratin why don't you file before top coat

    • @victoriakillman9862
      @victoriakillman9862 ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't have to unless it's an uneven surface. If it's not uneven you can go straight to top coat, if you feel it is then just file to make it even then I put 1 coat of protein bond in them my top coat.

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  ปีที่แล้ว

      Greg is filing after to make sure there isn't any product that is hanging off the nail that would lead to the client picking at them and well as ensuring a flawless free edge.

    ManiQ fiber gel is the best product n the World 🌎!!!

  • @lapassion24
    @lapassion24 ปีที่แล้ว

    The thing is sometimes the middle lower part of the nails curve up and it’s hard to file without damaging the nails or thinning up the nails… filing the nails prior soaking acetone with cotton makes the whole process much faster and more clean especially if you have to do a French or a light color, every bit of the client gel residue will show up if it is not clean good ^ ^ I think acetone can be very slow but once you filing off a good amount of the thick gel layer than the rest will come off much faster and cleaner ; ) gel on real nails not tips I mean ..
