    Thank you for sharing this. If I ever have children, they will be homeschooled, so these videos are a great resource.

      Homeschooling is amazing. As a public school kid growing up I love that we homeschool our kids. I would have wished I was homeschooled that would’ve prevented the bullying I went through.

    • @AmandaMelrose

      You can't print the lessons, but they do have a lot of extra resources that you can print. If you go to the lesson planning and reporting section and then click on lesson plans, then you can pick a subject and grade level and see all the offline resources that are included. There are a lot!

      @@AmandaMelroseis there daily worksheets that make sense with the lesson plan? Or do I just print everything at once and split them as I see fit?

  • @Thepublicaccount

    Does this have an end-of-the-year summary that you can print out to submit? If you’re a homeschooler I have a friend looking to do homeschool and I’m helping them research since I have more available time being child free and they said their state each year they have to turn in what their child learn for the year.

      You can generate a report at any time and put in whatever dates you want and it will show the lessons completed and the score they received if applicable.

    • @AmandaMelrose

      I think T4L has more repetition which some kids hate but someone struggling might prefer.

    Hello. Thank you for the reviews I’m wondering if you could tell me which program you like the most. Power homeschool or Time4learning. We have been using books (The Good and beautiful) and I want them to start doing school on their own without me being right next to them at all time. If you could give me some feedback I would greatly appreciate it.

    • @AmandaMelrose

      I prefer time 4 learning. Power Homeschool you can't really customize, and the videos are kind of out dated. However, they do have a recent update and I'm planning to do a review in the next week or 2. So maybe it has improved.

    Love your videos! Very helpful and thorough. I've
    been homeschooling for 10 years this year. I was wondering, if your child starts time4learning and say Math is too difficult at first. Can you change to a lower grade to review for a month, and adjust back to their current grade without having to catch up on what they missed?

    • @AmandaMelrose

      Yes you can switch the grade levels whenever. Think of this like a curriculum that just happens to be online. So you can use it however best suits your family. Just like if you bought a print curriculum and it was too advanced, you might buy the grade level behind and go back through that book before going back to the first book you purchased. Same thing here only it's online. You can pick the lessons, have them skip over topics they've already covered, etc.

      @@AmandaMelrose Thank you for getting back to me so quickly, I appreciate it. That's really good to know. 2 out of my 4 kids are trying Time4Learning this year. My youngest seemed to be struggling a bit in Math. I felt he might need a bit of review from the previous year. But I didn't want to lose the progress he's already done for the year. So that's good to know, thank you again.
      Also, do you know if there's a feature where you can make a report card? I see that you can generate a report of all of their work with percentages. But I didn't see anything where its just the subjects with a percentage and letter grade.

    • @AmandaMelrose

      If you uncheck "learning activities" it will look a little cleaner with just the quizzes and tests, but no I don't see a way to do it just by course/grade.

    Hi my husband and I are new to time learning and we are having some trouble and was wondering if you could help. So I went through all 4 of my kids weeks from August 25 all the way to September 15 and had them finish all assignments yesterday and the day before all had the blue ✔️ and now I just had them sign on today and all of their plans are showing the same assignments not done that they just did between the last two days so I am not really sure what is going on and my husband isn't either but I don't want to keep making them do the very same assignments they all ready did it they will not be able to move forward because this has happened several times so we could really use some guidance here because we are lost and don't know what is going on

    • @AmandaMelrose

      I have noticed that in the past. When my daughter was using this she would tell me she did one and it wasn't showing the check mark. I think you can go in the parent settings and check it off yourself if that happens.

    is time4learning accredit?

    • @AmandaMelrose

      No, time 4 learning is not a school, and only a school can be accredited. Think of time 4 learning like a curriculum that just happens to be done online. So similar to if you bought a print curriculum and taught it yourself. When you homeschool, your home is the school.

    Does this curriculum have woke content? Does it teach gender affirming content, does it attach pronouns to the wrong genders, etc? (Hoping it is not woke).
    Is the math common core?
    Would you say this curriculum is easy to figure out as i do have a hard time learning new tech, lol

    • @AmandaMelrose

      I have heard from others that there are some lessons with content like you describe, but I personally have not seen anything like that myself so I don't know for sure. It is not specifically aligned with common core standards. I think it is relatively simple to figure out. Nothing more complicated than what I've shown in this video. Hope this helps!
