Agreed. I find Addies and Steeldive to be basically identical in terns of build quality and fit and finish. I have multiples of both and am happy with them. They are better then a lot of the Ali brands with the exception of San Martin imo.
Amazing how swapping the bracelet to a suitable band made the watch look so much better - shame the handset is too colourful, a red second hand with brushed steel main hands would have looked so much better. The quartz GMT looks like a killer deal - even without sapphire.

If Steeldive and Addiesdive would just bin their respective logos and come up with something cleaner it would make a huge difference in the appeal of their watches. The only time I have seen it work is when Steeldive put out the Doxa Aqualung homage.
Lovely case on that watch, but the bracelet and clasp! I’m wearing a Watch Dives Subby and, for $59, it has a much better bracelet and clasp. I know cost cutting measures are necessary, and my WD is quartz, but a better clasp, at least. Great review as always!
I went with the vintage style dial for the AD gmt like you have. Feels like i have too many watches with a similar dial of the bb pro homage version. It was a hard decision still, looking forward to seeing it in person.
I agree, that watch has potential but I've never been a fan of that "asphalt/sandpaper" dial. I also agree about too much yellow/red but must say it looks great on that military band. Great review as usual! Tones are important, even on the GMT (Rolex explorer) the yellow should be toned down IMO.
I've been avoiding buying cheap automatic watches. I love some of the Ali brands especially when you look at the value. However at some point that movement will need servicing or a replacement. That might be 30-60% of the initial purchase price. That's why I now opt for quartz for daily's and Swiss auto's for "keepers". Ps I bought two of the Addies quartz GMT's the "Steve" and the white indices version. Excellent daily wear watches.

That AD2029 is extremely close to my Orient Stainless Steel black dial Bambino v5 RA-AC0006B10A, which is a bit bigger at 40mm. One of my two dress watches. The Addies has better water resistance, only 30m on the Orient. Have a look when you can, it's a twin! Totally agree. I have Addies and Steeldive and Addies is just as good.

Yeah I stated that in the video, the case is a Vaer style case as they have done this twice previously ( pilot hands and merc hands) and i also mentioned the CW or dial/bezel config does resemble the DS Certina 😉

I've yet to buy an Addiesdive or Steeldive. I've always considered them a cheaper, inferior alternative to some of the other AliExpress brands. My feeling is I'd rather spend a little more money and get a nicer watch.

You go through these triple unboxings way too fast. This is the second one that I've seen and both are almost worthless with the too rapid speech. Also I suggest changing the intro "beat",/"music" it sounds too ghetto.

Yeah i know exactly which one you are talking about and i agree. This is why i chose this, different than the usual explorer styles out there
