    Just received my Cronos GMT and every thing you said was spot on. I was worried about the weight and height of this watch but the weight comes down to about 155g with 3 links removed The heights seems just about liveable with although 14.2 mm it definitely wears better than the actual Tudor mainly because the case back sinks into the wrist , the sides are slightly less slab sided and about 2.5 mm is the very nice box crystal. The wear experience is very much like the Steinhart 39 gmt . The watch is definitely the most accurate Tudor homage. The watch head is a 9/10 with finishing close to Longines standards but the nice rivet bracelet and clasp are about 7 , just a little light weight . All in all for £145 an amazing watch. I would also add the crown stem on mine is rock steady unlike the Sergess which all reviews say is very loose and floppy.

      @willmarshall4685 The moisture is trapped within the watch. I highly recommend you to open up the caseback and put the watch in a closed box with rice for a few days.
      Otherwise your watch's movement will soon start to rust and soon become unusable.

    • @16jan1986

      The only reason to chose tandorio is to get rid of snowflake and mercedes hands....they only belong on they own brand of watches if the others had a normal hand option I would rip them out of their hands

    I haven't seen any reviewers check the alignment of the GMT hand on the NH 34. Rumours will have that they seldom lines up. So I'm wondering how yours are doing?

    Great reviews! Could you add a couple things: check the alignment of the hour & minute hands when at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock; and can you show exactly when the date changes over? Often hands that look aligned at 12 will not look so good at 6 etc.; and it is interesting to me how accurate the hands are set according to the date change. Thanks for the videos!

    • @johnswatchjoint
      @johnswatchjoint  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there. I am sorry but when I review my watches the first thing I do is check them over for the very basics. It's a given that the watches I review are straight. What I do do however is point out watches that do have issues with alignment. I will call it it out and I always do a follow up regarding how the complaint is handled. Unfortunately I do not have enough time to put everything into video. This is a hobby.
      Thanks for the suggestion and glad you enjoy the content :)

      Cronos just doesn't seem to have the capabilities to come out with one model after the other for some reason. Wondering what it is, maybe they just didn't have as much success early on or failed to invest in manufacturing?🤔

    Great suggestions there 👍. I have just received a San Martin GMT, the sn0116 with blue dial/bezel and orang/red hands. It is fantastic, really well made as usual, but an original design only 12.5mm thick with nh34 and a top hat sapphire, it wears incredibly well.

    I purchased the 37mm tandorio skx gmt in june. I've been on a 2.5 week trip to japan and it's worked flawlessly to keep me on time with home in the USA. I really like it on my 6.75 inch wrist. Plus the 20mm band was why i chose it over its bigger brother. I have it on a nato strap. The bezel is ever so slightly, by a miniscule amount, off, but I dont mind. The crown had a little issue engaging to screw in from the out position, but that has gotten better with use actually. In my mind, well worth the $85 i paid. I wish I could have gotten batman colors though.
    Also: i purchased the seestern 62 mas and it is cosmetically wonderful. It stopped after a couple weeks. I have no idea why. I'll bring it into my watch repair shop, but it must have been a lemon.

    • @johnswatchjoint
      @johnswatchjoint  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Michael. I cannot answer that as it is completely up to you. I am no salesman. All I can say is that the quality I have in hand with the Cronos I have reviewed is very impressive. There are maybe 7 or 8 watches that I have reviewed that have really surprised me with their build quality and attention to detail. This is one of them. I hope that helps but only you know what you want to do :)

    Given that your video is all about GMTs available in the current AliExpress sale I'm surprised you haven't included the I&W Carnaval GMT (NH34A) . Maybe you don't consider a non-diver version a true GMT, as the Carnaval is a dress watch style? Personally, I've been wanting a non-diver style GMT for some time so took the opportunity of grabbing one in this sale.

    Great video John! It’s strange, I have five Tandorio watches and have used them all to swim or in my shower. No issues with any of mine so far. Maybe I’m the only one. I would agree that you shouldn’t just take it at it’s depth rating, but know that not ALL Tandorio watches aren’t water resistant. You take your chances, but I would assume most people won’t give a crap because most won’t use them in water. It’s truly too bad that Tandorio isn’t water testing their watches, but with the deals they have on their well-built watches, who cares? I’m buying even more Tandorio watches because they’re awesome spec’d for the money. So buy them and keep them out of water if you’re concerned. Otherwise, not buying them because of this one issue (unless you’re gonna go scuba diving), Is a real missed opportunity. Pass these watches up, and you’re really missing out. I’m just sayin! Buy Tandorio and love them! That’s all you gotta do!
