Looks like a scene out of a real forest...Really nice to look at...Looking forward to the repotting and styling in the Spring...Thanks for yet another great video...Sequim, WA...
Lovely group of trees there, I was discouraged from trying to plant these cause of thorns, though they are prized for helping in dental care, anyway have 2 now and have started 2 cuttings from them, still a long way to go, thank you for the video
the pots looks so nice organized but i worry they will absorb water and suffer an erosion effect if allowed to freeze envious of your many excellent trees Nigel
I went to Key West in Florida for spring break and the Sweet Acacia was one of the first plants I looked closely at and I immediately got some seed pods and opened them, threw the cases away and the seeds passed through the TSA scanners fine and I planted them and now they are a foot tall! I plan on overwintering them on a bright window sill or the brightest place in the house where ever that is lol.
Cool updates and the acia pruning was great. We have some nice cool weather from the north. We had the dark clouds all day long. No rain though. Still cloudy this evening.
I love your process. I’m torn on what to do with my three acacia trees. I started them from seen 4yrs ago. I’ve trimmed a bit here and there but they have long trunks and most of the foliage is at the top on long branches. Not sure how to mange it.
Thanks so much, it may be more of a duration problem? Mine stay at 10 C for 5 months at least! Do you think this is too long? Maybe the temperature is good! How long do your Acacia's stay cool? Thanks so much John, any tips or thoughts are welcome!!!

I am curious why you store your pots upside down.
Oh yes, posting when I just started myself a mixed variety forest bonsai from seed
Hey Nigel do you have logwood? Would love to see you work on one
I’ve been searching for a logwood or logwood seeds here in Europe and it seems impossible to find… I love the leaves on logwoods
Looks like I just missed a premiere????
I live in South Africa
The average min temp in Johannesburg is 5deg c
Gets to -1 when we have a cold front. My acacias stay outside
