Attention everyone, after doing several tests in sandbox, "aggression" spell seems to reduce damage rather than doing more dmg, even in combination of other spells. You guys can test if you want, i ll stay away from that spell until it gets fixed. If its a bug.
What i saw with overload is that if you use recovery right after it and instantly cancel recovery the spirit is instantly back and you are able to use all other spells again if you restock mana with 1 of his abilities.
malevolance is crazy good actually because it allows corvus to be alch buffed and overclocked since he is the one attacking not the spirit. While active you can also cast spear + storm which are also buffed unlike the spirit ones to get crazy cleanup
@@The_Dr_Fate i don't actually know, but judging from the way the game's internal logic works, I would assume it's because he isn't the "source" of the pops, his spirit is until he activates malevolence.
A combo I like is Frostbound + Repel, as it pushes back all MOABs and cerams to the entrance, and leaves them with permafrost. Also, storm is good midgame for MOAB damage.
Malevolence. May seem weak at first, but if you give it a 4-2-0 alchemist buff it can deal with super ceramics on the 90's. Not just that, but since you can use it with energy blade and spear, it can deal really phenomenal damage. Not just that, but since malevolence technically attacks slow, it has nearly 100% alchemist uptime. I think you severely underestimated, and underused it.

Malevolence is actually pretty good in some situations, for example when there's a large rush incoming that the spirit can't keep up with or stopping him from attacking for stalling. This is also probably a bug, but if you use it or recovery after overload and then immediately cancel, the spirit just comes back out of nowhere.
