Initially was quite interesting to stay in converted bus. But the actual product is way off from the bus concept itself, and the price is a no-no. Might as well stay in some good hotels with atas breakfast and infinity pool included.
Don’t forget to bring ear plugs for a comfortable night sleep. Nice ambience. Lots of eateries in Changi village. I probably will pay $300 not quite $400 for the experience.
Considering the land per bus, per night $400 consider cheap. However, think there are more comfortable hotel with better facilities for $400 elsewhere. And without the the airplane noise.
Must say Mr Harianto gave a good sights and insights to The Bus collection + the Instagram pic etc. watching it , was about to give it a go - yup to try the novel experience, if only, the price tag included (the nasi leak for 2) . Cheers
Just booked for 428 per night, but u need to add another 80 for tax, so it is actually 508 per night without any breakfast. Just staying once for the novelty, but not for another session as it is too expensive and no free carpark/location ulu
@@joannatam6567damn right. I wld nt even want to pay $300 for a stay in a bus with no amenities around. By watching the video, already know what to expect. No need to spend for experience sake. Everything in SG is turning into gold price
@@nomanisanisland2109 For experience, it is fun and memorable for the children. For pure stay, of course there are always bigger, cheaper and better options out there as others have argued. Depending on the perspective and occasion, if u plan to have a comfy & unique stay experience that allows u to invite friends/family for BBQ gatherings/celebrations right beside aan Aircon settings, then perhaps it may be worthwhile. Anyway there is no end to this debate, to each it's own, let's all be civil in our comments. In my view, for Bus Collective to survive in the long term, they need to either reduce their prices or add value to the stay. E.g. outdoor entertainment such as movie screening ("drive-in" cinema using the bus), that's it.
It was too expensive for a night stay, a better choice would be to stay at the nearby hotel which is cheaper and inclusive of breakfast. The noise from the frequent planes is very noisy, as well as the mosquitoes and flies if barbecuing outside. Although fishing is tempting but thinking about the amount you paid for doesn't make fishing a wise choice (spending so much to idle away the time doing fishing and what to do with the catch? ). This concept wouldn't last long with such a rate ($400 plus)as there were better options. A better option, would be converting it into a resort style with multiple double sides beds (6 to 8 double sided beds) for organisations to have retreats and to schools during the holidays and lower the rental rates( but the take-up rate would be definitely be better. Also, with the nearby multiple food stalls, engaging them to cater meals for the resort guests would be a good idea and catering for barbecue at affordable prices.😅😂🎉
$400 per night rate to be on the higher side, considering a few aspects like the remote location, ,the absence of complete amenities and complimentary breakfast further adds to this concern. I believe adjusting the pricing to reflect these considerations might make the stay more appealing to potential guests. Maybe an introduction of more engaging activities or partnerships with local attractions. This could add value to the guest experience and make the cost more justified, akin to the approach taken by establishments like Club Med.
Stupid ideas, if it's a ship I expect a cruise to somewhere by the sea. If its a bus, I would expect a tour to somewhere, maybe wakeup in KL or Ipoh, penang or even thailand. Otherwise might as well stay In a proper hotel. Renting a top class camper van would be more practical, but tiny Singapore or Malaysia hasn't brought up the idea.
Harianto as an Indonesian must be laughing to himself inside for forking out $400 a night for such a stay. I think he rather pays $120 for a good hotel in Bali.
Next phase will be high rise condo development...good bye old serene changi nostalgia..haa its not meant for singaporeans...the big boyz have big plans...
Definitely not $400/- bucks per night. Way too expensive.
$400 a night is definitely NOT WORTH IT. 😂
Especially for the location...Changi!

You can book Village Hotel Changi by Far East Hospitality ( 4-star hotel nearby ) from Agoda @S$162

The rate is ridiculous for something that is not so unique. It's basically just a bus with a bed. How hard can that be?
I’ll not likely pay S$398 for 1 night bus stay .
Singaporean very stress . Work like crazy . Want to enjoy in their own country without traveling to another countries also cannot too expensive 😂
No swimming pool, no gym. Any room service?
$400 not for me.
Dear friend your explanation is very clear.good luck
Should make weekend hourly rate use for maid n bagla used good locations.
Looks more like a 200 dollars a night kind of hotel

Heard it's something about not seeing the number so become "per"(means: "what?") night.
$400? No, no, no. $150 maybe, when no where else to go 😔
Yet still lack of land for HDB

Lol theres a 4* hotel nearby that only cost $1XX a night, go figure
Why don't go all the way and charge say $4000 per night. Include two escorts (without tips) and call it the Bang bus collective.
$200 A Night Is OK.
Include or exclude taxes?
Suggest just take a bus fr jurong to tampines
Too expensive shall be less than 200
$150-$200 more reasonable for most Singaporean..
$50 per night I won't stay also
The Bus Collective at Changi Village. 20 Scania K230UB Buses.
Yes, if my son love to have a taste of being in the driver's seat. Yes, if it's for a special occasion or celebration for a unique experience....🎉❤
400 including ah gua at night ahh?? 🤭🤭🤭
No def not. I can go W hotel during the off peak season for slightly more.
I think pitch a tent at the beach, no ac, is more enjoyable
Expensive ..
No way for $400😮😮
sleeping inside a bus? no way

$150 oso dun wan ..soooooooooooooooooooo expensive
😂😂😂Thank goodness I gonna no money to try out this stupid, expensive novelty. Whew!😅
Expensive lah 😂. 400 including breakfast for 3 pax. Nice American bfs. Not nasi lemak or char kwetiaw😂
Expensive la😅
Conservatively, probably good for 1 year. But then again, too many suckers around so what do I know🤪
No pool? No nice view? No hot babes? Lousy location.. sorry not for me $400
no
Even can afford also don’t want to pay😂
$400 and buy/cook your own food? Way overpriced
Next time all the places of attractions also have to give way to pap party to build hdb flats and others, etc...
Since the pap party run out of land to build hdb flats and others, etc.. so the $400 is way too cheap already.

Should be bus no. 304.
Not 204.....😂😂😂😂
There will be some clowns game for it. But I think will fail.

indeed I’ll just pay $400 even if it’s not worth it
Too expensive.
No too expensive‼️ this $400 per day. I rather go for Singapore hotel stay, better😊😁
Very audacious to charge $400 a night for this.
This review doesn’t make it sound appealing to begin.
Not worth 😅
Poor business decisions overall.
Like most things in SG, over-priced and over-rated. A total gimmick suited only for rich people's children.
Nah. No thanks. Prepare to see the true colors 6months down the road
NOT Worth it
Nope not worth.
Singapore Airlines flights + this unique hotel for tourists from Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and more countries will be perfect!
Too expensive.
