I recommend going and doing a tandem flyt with an instructor there amazing and will look after you , your fears will turn into big smiles and enjoyment once you get airborne , give this ago and then if you still not happy about it you don’t have to fly anymore but I do recommend you try it with an instructor first.
I'm too scary....just think if for some reason there's a mistake on your wing thing....like maybe a couple of strings are so weak that they can snap apart.....I just couldn't do it...lol
Paragliding was my whole life dream, but in reality, I was always poor and broke, today at 50 years of age, I gave my life to driving semi trucks for a living, now I can afford to finally buy my entire paragliding gear, but I've lost my ability to run or flex my legs and paragliding just went through my life as just that...a dream! 😥
that exactly explains me to a t. I'm trucking 23 years now. I'm 50 in January. however... I'm paragliding today! future paramotor. I'm still physically able and would absolutely regret it if I lost my chance

Oh man, I’ve always had a strong inclination to try paragliding and eventually paramotoring, but I’m absolutely terrified of heights.
I‘m afraid of heights too, but while paragliding i have no fear. Maybe you just should try it! :)

Before, I was afraid of heights. To conquer it I tried paragliding! It was amazing! Try it for your self

Have you considered paramotoring with a trike?
That could be a way around your lack of mobility.
