I tried this more than 30 years in Hong Kong. Back then there were still a lot of sampans on the water hosting customers, and there were separate sampans that provided different things (including different dishes, fruits, even entertainment). The dishes were fresh and tasty, and although we didn't order the entertainment, but the singing (粵曲) seemed floating above the water and it felt magical. Everything was perfect...EXCEPT with the stench of garbage along the 避風塘 which was truly horrendous. It's such a unique experience that I wish I could try this again, and I'm glad to find this vid and realize that this is still alive and well in HK. I don't really care about the modern amenities or new restaurants in HK, but attractions like this, is a dying art form that the Hong Kong government should have done more to help preserve.
@@glaychin5031 I can't remember how much it was back then since it's so long ago. But I still remember how delicious those freshly made dishes were, including seafood and veggies. It's truly awesome. Back in the days, there were a lot more boats, and all the boats are moving about (unlike this one that's stationary). But of course back then it was a genuine fishing "village" with fishermen families living and working on boats. It's a hard life that no one (particularly not the younger generations) aspires to, except for nostalgia.

七八十年代常去,那時非常熱鬧,很多艇家圍着客人議價,有唱歌的艇過來可點唱,也有艇賣吃的,很有風味特色。九十年代舉家移民加拿大,至今回港探親也沒再去避風塘,以為沒了。

勾起我的童年回憶,小時候每天看著這些艇家們作業的景象。很感動。
大概係七八十年代呢度曾經係遊艇河勝地,一行近碼頭就有好多船家埋身兜客。遊艇河用嘅艇都比鏡頭所見駁艇略大,艇中間放一張枱,方便客人食宵夜。上艇之後睇住船家搖櫓駛出避風塘中心,有賣飲品雪糕嘅艇家、有食燒味粉麵艇家、有食海鮮小炒艇家、更有賣唱贈慶艇家,好不熱鬧。有出名美味嘅艇家會被客艇包圍,應接不暇;其他各類艇家亦會四圍兜生意,兩三小時好快就會過去。童年回憶,又上心頭。

厨房在另一艇工作 , 以前銅鑼灣遊艇河仲有义燒河粉食 , 又有人買唱 , 100支粵曲好有風味
我系銅鑼灣避風港出世的,那时興記,漢記最出名,1965年左右成10元碗燒鵝瀨粉大家信吾信,韮菜花,漢記的避風堂炒蟹好食到揾吾返啲味道,現在的避風堂差得遠了,但总比好過無!

這些用辡招及油炸蟹小食就好。如果每星期吃三次真是不健康。長久會大便出血塊對身体好不健康。試食過便是。可在店口入食其文衾品也可以例如鴨河及前菜的雜錦拼盤也好好吃。大家可以試吓這間店的炒蟹以前三十年前在謝菲道近馬司道是晚上開九點收三點的所邊手推車檔做得好成功。當時檔主叫亞喜。出身是交青口及東風螺等食品比一D炒蟹夜店

重皮蟹即軟殻蟹,五月是幼蟹換殻日子。三十多年前,與友人於銅鑼灣夜遊船河,艇租500(三小時),那些年,有專門炒小菜的艇家在避風塘內做生意,遊船河的人想吃便將自己的艇駛過去下單,食物煮好後在自己的艇上享用;另外,也有「賣唱艇」可提供娛樂。順帶一提,當時的避風塘炒蟹並非影片中的模樣。
好想試 睇完 不過真係5-6個人去好 起碼多幾碟夾下 有都有聽過呢d船上餐廳 但成日覺得上去會比人湯價 你拍完我知咩價錢到 同睇佢野食質素 環境都底比💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

講到食蟹。我之前食過一間超正嘅XO 醬粉絲肉蟹煲。肉蟹新鮮肉爽,粉絲入味又乾身,唔會炒到碎哂。重點係唔油唔膩。食完成煲個煲底一滴油都冇。响士瓜灣。不過間嘢執咗笠啦⋯⋯聽講係大廚(即係老闆)年紀大身體唔好至冇辦法做落去

避风塘的优势不是价格和品质,除去环境的优势,仅仅是避风塘系列很多店做不出来而已,因为船家用的是私房老油(回锅油)和花生油混合炸的蒜酥。吃海鲜,品质好价格合适的还是西贡码头,自己去小船上买,一篮两只约两斤的青蟹,250左右;一篮两只龙虾仔,300左右;一篮六只赖尿虾,220左右;一篮两条约一斤半的石斑(黄脚立、扒皮----),200左右;加工费估算300;两碟青菜,一碟炒面250;六支啤酒,180;最后算上茶位,一共不到两千块,西贡要远离那几家所谓的米其林推荐餐厅。流浮山更别说了,那里除了生蚝,其它东西都不行,而且小街小巷,路途还远,完全不值得去,

胧蒙 謝謝 有沒有相關店介紹?以前我都是從船家或街巿買完以後到最靠岸邊的酒樓讓他們加工,貴不在話下,廚藝還不是特別的好。
@@hochiusam 不客气;西贡街市的海鲜比船上的贵很多,你去那家估计是全记,上午他们还有茶市,确实不好吃,全记、通记还有名气最大的胜记都不适合海鲜加工,到全记前面的有一排也是靠海的小店,几家你都可以去试,我平时吃的是“金辉”,果皮蒸鲍鱼、椒盐濑尿虾、姜葱肉蟹、蒸鱼都可以,有时候他们有野生海胆卖,但是价格贵点。不要吃套餐,不要吃芝士焗的龙虾,那都不是他们的强项。反正这种小店就适合小煎小炒,再喝点小酒。
興記在九龍尖沙咀也有開業。做了好長時間。因為她們一家。晚上收工都叫的士囬耀東邨這是三十年的故事。
