Really like this video, as a beginning fragrance enthusiast I sometimes get worried that I’ll end up like some of the frag heads I see on TH-cam with hundreds of bottles. It’s reassuring to remember that 10-20 bottles is more realistic
I’ve got 7 right now and I’m pretty good with it. Versatile + summer: Chanel Ashee Office: Prada l’homme Loud/party: Azzaro TMW intense and Ultra male Winter: Spicebomb extreme Winter/date/gourmand: SWY intensely Date night: La nuit de l’homme edt
can you suggest some for Everyday Office wearings? As per my research most of the work environment friendly colognes are freshies, should they be different for each season or can be worn in the Winter in office?@@theronnewman5566
I am the type of person that has mostly versatile fragrances out of my collection of 30. If I can’t see myself wearing them everyday it’s hard for me to pull the trigger to buy them.
Honest answer should be one versatile scent fir daily or specials use - you'll still stand out against the vast majority who never wear anything. As you branch out maybe add a special occasions. For 20 odd years i only had one the classic issey miyake before my current collection of 30. I could not get anymore - 1. Thats enough for years of use. 2. No more storage and i wont be creating more just or fragrances.
Hi Omar. I'm from India. It'd be great if you could make a video or two on some of the best kind of fragrances men can use in the rainy seasons exclusively, since I don't think any other reviewer puts up videos on fragrances to use as per season as meticulously as you do. Cheers.
I'm from India too...Rain season is very prominent to our tropical area so you aren't finding so many guidance on TH-cam. If you ask me here are some suggestions depending upon availability - Fresh/Woody/Oriental/Professional: Fattan, Woody Oud, Tres Nuit, Silver Shade/ Al Wisam day, Turathi Blue, CDNIM og - Sweet/Casual/Chill/Date: Hawas/Najdia, 1Million (Lucky), Layton/Detour Noir, CDNIM untold, Khalis Musk/Misk Rijali # always remember to try before buying full bottles # if you are new to colognes you may find some fragrances awkward but trust me when your nose will mature you will treat them divine.
My journey is a bit wild right now I’m too deep into it. But I do know that I will slow down. I quickly bought about 30 in the past 3 months. I believe I should cap it at 50 total between me and my wife.
i have 5 fragrance; i live in a really hot and humid city and we don't have seasons here: 1. jo milano full house and y Y EDP for work (clean citrus and soapy clean) i am a physician just as you. 2. casual weekend for going out in the day (a local clone of pacific chill called lp 02 is sb awesome 😎 very minty fresh mango) 3. armani stronger with you absolutely for date/night 4. montale infinity for special occasions (very strong and formal in my opinion) i also have bdc and eros edt, when i finishe them going to get the EDP versions planning to get full bottle from niche fragrance, reaching out for terre de hermes/kumkat wood for work (base on your recommendations) also jaipur homme bourechon 😅
I have a 34 bottles collections and it's a bit much + like 50 decants and samplers A lot of cheapys that i can give away but still wear them from time to time. I'm a Salsa dancer and the womens found funny that i always have new frag but not new dance shoes 😅. One day i will keep only a 10 bottles collections and try some decants. YSL LNDL will always be there because it was my first love
As a college student, I just had 1 designer. I would use some deodorant or a dirt cheap gifted fragrance at the gym or on the beach. And I think that's why the best blue fragrances sell that much compared to the rest. People that get 1 fragrance will probably just get Dior Sauvage, Bleu de Chanel or Y EDP and that's all. When you upgrade to an all-designer fragrance you'll have a designer taking the place of a gym or beach fragrance. You can use it in the office too but you'll need a night out fragrance. After these 3-4 essentials you just get a collection. I have about 20, but I still don't use the specialized ones a lot, while the office-everyday ones are getting heavy use, even though I have more and bigger bottles. I can't wear Sauvage elixir every day at the office for example.
I think the word "need" is a bit excessive if you own one that can work for summer+winter and for day+night and you enjoy it, then 1 is enough but I also get the idea of having different smells for different occasions great video overall
I turned our spare bedroom into a room. dedicated to fragrances. So for me & my wife, the answer to your question of many fragrances should you own, is as many that we can fit into all our cabinets. I have to keep selling my lesser worn fragrances to replace them with my favourite new releases. We have a really bad addiction.
Le Beau Le Parfum has a great pineapple note, which combines nicely with the Le Beau coconut accord to give a pina colada vibe, perfect for tropical evenings
On my opinion (fine, I own over 100 fragrances, leave me alone) for most people 5 fragrances are more then enough. I would recommend: 1. Dior Homme Sport as a fresh fragrance, it's refined with a bit of class 2. Azzaro The Most Wanted edp for night outs/clubbing. It's strong, insanely mass appealing and not expensive 3. Valentino Uomo intense as a special occasion fragrance, easier to wear than Dior Homme intense and a massive compliment getter 4. Bleu de Chanel Parfum for versatility, the best blue fragrance in my opinion. Has better performance than the other 2 and smells amazing 5. Tom Ford Noir Extreme/Ombre Leather for a more interesting and playful fragrance, when you feel bold and want t o make an impression
I bought BdC in my late 20's, and for every day use but thought it smell to elegant like I needed to dress up to pull it off haha (and I was wearing suit and tie)
Never agreed with the get 5 - a daytime. A date night. A party. A special occasion etc etc etc. the reality is you end up with a single fragrance that gets worn each day and the others very rarely. So you then crave variety - this is exactly how ppl end up with 30-40+ bottles. My approach is simple. 3 categories - Fresh (summer/spring). Heavier (winter/fall). And unique. I go for variety in each section, so around 5-6 bottles for each. That means you can have 1 or 2 per section that are more daring or activity specific. I also keep 1 of each section In my office. Meaning I never go over 20 bottles.
Depend for what occasion. Spring & Summer : Nautica Voyage 20$ Missoni wave 40$ Rasasi Hawas 45$ Fall & winther: Nitro white 40 $ Spectre Wrait or gost 50$ each 9pm rebel 40$ All of them are peaple pleaser and compliments getters.
Hi Omar, still loving your videos. What are your thoughts on the new Bvlgari Pour Homme EDP? Or your thoughts on the whole line? I tried the EDT and loved it. But I’m not sure about it’s longevity. So much love here from the U.S. Thanks❤️!
Date night scents are a joke. We now acting like every guy has regular dates that grant a purchase for just that. Most guys here watching have less than 2 dates a year.
@Bkesal14 Very original take. Just make sure you're more original during your 'date', otherwiss the fragrance has to do all the work and that might not be enough. 😉
Are you approachable? Have you been hitting the gym to have a leaner look women like? Do you shower daily, lotion up so your skin is hydrated? If so, when you put on your fragrance, is it one you like, or women like? I think i look well put together but I'm normal, to stand out my fragrance is meant for women. I practically had this girl jump into my neck to smell me (burberry touch, + the most wanted this morning) I was a spicy but clean smelling dude. Guys dont like it women though? Had a date and her number in under 5 mins. Stay well put together, talk to 100 people per month so you are more confident approaching a woman. Ask yourself is there anything wrong with me. Because maybe you jumped to fragrances when you need to do a previous step to gain the confidence fragrances give. I KNOW I smell good, I dont look for compliments, do women "drift" near me, do i see the same woman over and over again, trying to catch a whiff? That is the compliment... I think fragrances are a last touch. You can rock jeans and a t shirt and pull women because once they are close you should be using aromas to enhance THEIR experience, not yours... Think different
I think its better to concentrate more on the smell of the fragrance rather than the colour of the bottle. If you love a particular fragrance you can always paint the bottle black!

16 is perfect 4 for each season
I do the 20 rule, 4 for each season, 4 office/Versatile/gym
for me it’s 7-10 top quality for each seasons as I like experimenting variety & flexibility in life
@olive0eyes0 like 7 to 10 each season???
Yes sticking to few is bit boring & mundane for me😂 when there is so many notes to savour
can you suggest some for Everyday Office wearings? As per my research most of the work environment friendly colognes are freshies, should they be different for each season or can be worn in the Winter in office?@@theronnewman5566

holy cow thank you for this one!!!! I didn't think you'd make it 😳😳
I have 92 Bottles and i love them all 🤷🏼♂️😄

where do you sell your fragrances at?
This video really came just in time
I live in Jamaica 🇯🇲. What cologne do you recommend for a hot summer climate? Nice video as always
Le Beau Le Parfum has a great pineapple note, which combines nicely with the Le Beau coconut accord to give a pina colada vibe, perfect for tropical evenings
Mancera Auod lemon mint and One million Parfum. Beastmode fragrances good in the summer
Montale Black Aoud for nighttime and Mancera Cedrat Boise for all the day

That s very nice video. I will be glad to see similar video but with price range or advanced levels.
Have a nice day/evening
Subscribed.. Brilliant chanel... Greetings from Wales.
2 Fragrances is essential
@ramoneregal8317 nah a YSL year round will get you in the top 80%
Great tips 👌
You are always on point

Great stuff.
What’s with the frame rate of the video? Or is it the excessive use of motion blur for some reason
guys what does african sunset smell like? similar to 9pm at all?
great video please tell if we can do all clones for like students who want fragrance but affordable
Depend for what occasion.
Spring & Summer :
Nautica Voyage 20$
Missoni wave 40$
Rasasi Hawas 45$
Fall & winther:
Nitro white 40 $
Spectre Wrait or gost 50$ each
9pm rebel 40$
All of them are peaple pleaser and compliments getters.
The answer is so simple: the more the better! 😜
I love Intesne Cedrat Boise but due to high synthetic ingredients it gives me headache.
Nice breakdown
I don't know how I've ended up having 20 designer frags now, but I know my next 10 will be niche ones, and I have the samples to support it, LOL
For most, starting with the ME/clones would be mor3 convenient
As I could imagine, there might be several more levels or sidesteps, layering, mixing and molecular perfumery.
What do you think about xerjoff accento
Dari puluhan decant yang saya beli, akhirnya saya merasa nyaman dengan aroma yang diciptakan oleh brand D&G, Montale, dan Mancera. Saya sering kecewa dengan aroma dari brand lain. Bedroom perfumery episode 4 when? 🙏🙏

Zero? Never. You can buy quality fragrances for even under $30 and you can smell amazing.
Do you think hawas ice is a good summer fragrance?
Yes, as it is very similar to the original 😅
@SchoolOfScent Aight thanks im thinking of completing my Invictus victory elixir with hawas ice for the warmer days
Only two I need is Tygar and tuxedo

To borrow a fragrance term, I sense some projection here... 😂

Think different
Make black bottle fragrance collection
I think its better to concentrate more on the smell of the fragrance rather than the colour of the bottle. If you love a particular fragrance you can always paint the bottle black!
50 and 6 sprays each
I keep 4
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Day 16 of asking omar to make a buying guide for al haramain amber oud
TF Ombre Leather is definitely an acquired taste as it smells like furniture.
I don't get what adult people see in that Most Wanted Edp. That stuff is for teenagers.
Day 12 of asking Omar for a Comme des garcons buying guide
365 days in a year and some have 500 to 1000, it's no way in hell that they wear these. dior homme and sell everything else
I think 3 is a minimum
👍👍👍
