Thank you so much for posting. I had the same issue on my Road King Classic 06. It was the fuse. Tail light blew out.

I have same issue on 2000 Sportster 1200 sport and I don't have a fuse box where it says I changed the 4 pin black thing where said fuses was but still no difference no horn turn signals on but don't blink no brake light just stays lit and low beam light don't work or speedometer or rpm

Good info but why not just fix the short instead of replacing the whole harness? Would be a lot less expensive........just saying.
