    I wonder if any of the different style hot racing shocks would screw into the top of the carismas

      I'm doubtful. They're such a strange size and thread. Much smaller that the universal sizes available not.

    Also do you know of any larger type of shock that can utilize the eyelets just as you did? By the way, great video sir!

    How did you do the dual spring setup on the shocks with hot racing parts or is it a single spring stretched?

    • @ThatParadiseEj1
      @ThatParadiseEj1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's another set of springs above the adjuster

      @@ThatParadiseEj1 so I'm really interested in making a set of those hot racing custom shocks can you put a list of what you used or make a video how you did it I'd love to have them on my rock bouncer

    Has anyone else tried this? Its a great idea but it won't tighten up enough with heat shink. Unless I'm doing something wrong I can pull it apart fairly easily and I can imagine during actual use the shock top will come off. I was really looking forward to using this technique...

    • @ThatParadiseEj1
      @ThatParadiseEj1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe the shrink tube you're using is a bit thinner than mine. Although. I will say that I could pull them apart by hand also but not easily enough to where they've fallen apart during use. Use some super glue if you're too worried. Or you could use some teflon tape on the threads first

    Thank you so much, i hope with very heavy weight oil, it will not leak 👍😎 did you try it? You saved me 24$ of shapeways SCX24 Carisma shock eyelet adapter 😝🐒

    • @ThatParadiseEj1
      @ThatParadiseEj1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No problem! Turns out they won't leak if you turn them upside down like the directions say. I'd use teflon tape on each side of the heat shrink. Good luck!
