Great Video. I bought this receiver back in 2011 and use it every day. I use the receiver to power a pair of 90 pound Infinity SM152 floor standing speakers that I bought many Decades ago in a 5.1 surround setup. This receiver easily powers these speakers that have 15 inch woofers to room shaking levels. No need for subwoofers. Not planning to replace this receiver until it dies or until I have 2000 dollars I just don't know what to do with. Then probably the Denon X3800H AVR.
Excellent instructions. this worked perfectly for my RX-V677. I had to try different screwdrivers for some reason but one finally worked. As you correctly demonstrate, there is no need to keep holding the screwdriver once the No Model Info is shown, as some other videos have done. Saved at least an $80 tech inspection.
Hi, during the procedure I select the wrong model (V675 instead of V775). Now the AV receiver doesn't function proprely. How can I change the model now? I can't see the error message "internal error". How can I enter again the Program mode? THANK YOU
Hi.this is good and informative video.i have same model and giving same error.before doing this procedure.i called local authorise technician.he done simple job like pressing mode buttons and show me no model info.he told me I have to take it to my lab may be components issue or may be board issue. I didn't gave him my receiver. I followed you precisely and all is done. Thanks

Sorry, I don't know if it's possible to do it after it's already been programmed.
