My psychology professor said (years ago) that when a baby cries and is comforted by his mom, the baby feels more loved and becomes more open to his parents (as he grows older). So I think you’re right 😊 There’s really nothing wrong daw if you carry him while he cries 😊

Me too! I was told many time that “wag sanayin sa karga si baby” but I really cannot stand seeing my son crying. Comforting my son is my job and he’s not going to be so little for a long time so cherish every moment.

I love the REALNESS of this vlog. Exactly how my 2months post partum was like.. stuck in bed, breastfeeding all day. My baby is now three. So independent and inquisitive. I miss how clingy and dependent she was when she was a newborn. Cliche as it may sound but they really do grow up so fast. Cherish every moment of it ❤️

I like how Slater supports his wife especially on her breakdowns. I am not a parent or married but I always enjoy watching Kryz' vlogs on taking care of Scott. The journey of a new parent looks amazing to me. Mrs. Young's vlogs are still new to me and I am so proud of her for being such a dedicated mother.

I remember the days when i first became a mom and almost everyday id have a breakdown when my kid doesnt sleep at night. I have to take care of him alone since my partner only comes home on weekends from school. But then weeks, months passed and i got to know more my baby, what positions in sleeping hes comfortable with, whether he wants to lie down on the bed beside me, or on my chest, which boob he prefers feeding from, that he doesnt wanna be disturbed when hes sleeping even if its his schedule to feed m, if hed like to be carried or swayed, what time hed like to take naps or go to sleep. I figured being a mom is not only a responsibilty but a skill you really need to learn. 🤣 i learned how to adjust his sleeping patterns and in 4 months time he already sleeps straight at night and the list of skills and lessons continue as more months passed.
Its definitely not easy but youll get a hang of it soon! I adore you for just being so strong despite the situtation. Scottie is already proud of you! Thank you for sharing this Kryz! Laban inahan! ☺️💜💋

Kryz, my baby had similar symptoms to baby Scott. She cried uncontrollably, had frequent hiccup, and would spit up and she constantly on my boob. Turns out she had acid reflux, she was given acid reflux medication and was a completely different baby after that. But by all means comfort your baby in every way that you feel your instinct is telling you to do 💕💙💕 mama knows best 😉

    • @missg1013
      @missg1013 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

@SuperSweetgirl007 is right. Scottie might be feeling not ok and to be near you is the only comfort that he will feel fine. Try to talk to him-telling “he will be ok”, enough milk since he is full or anything that will let him think or feel that “it not feeding that what he needs”. You will be surprise-bec he will get used to your talking..Just be patient..
Don’t worry about other Mama’s style- we have our own right in every way..They are just concern.. Do what ever suites you, dear💖

I became a first-time mom too in February and I totally understand how overwhelming it feels! Every single day of waking you don't know what to expect - all I can say is prayer helps! The first 3 months of a baby's life is unpredictable and there's no real fixed routine but to manage around his/her needs of feeding, sleeping, pooping. Just to cheer you on that the days WILL get better! Literally take it one day at a time, and your greatest joy will be in how fast baby grows each day!

I so remember the days that I were in your shoes. I am first time mom also and it was a really crazy transistion for me and for my hubby also. No matter how you physically, mentaly ,emotionally and financially prepare in having a baby it really is very very much different from what we expect. So exhausting and tiring and so fulfilling and happy also. It is really a roller coaster of emotions especially for me as I experience Post Partum Depression. But thank GOD that I got over it. More powers to you Ms. kryz and Mr.Slater.Enjoy Parenthood❤😍👏👏👏

Hi Kryz! fellow new momma here with my 4 month old little girl. The first 3 months (also has been termed the "fourth trimester") is very trying for mom and baby. Baby is just adjusting earth side after being so cozy and snug for 9+months in your belly. I've also been told "wag mo sanayin sa karga ang baby" BUT you can never spoil your newborn! Just give all the love and cuddles he can get. I find lots of skin to skin too helped with my little one's fussiness

  • @jblanco209

Donot worry because that is normal feeding for some babies like when I had my second daughter, she was feeding from me 24/7 literally for 5 years right before she entered pre-school where my ultimate fear reached its level, but for some 'miracle', she just stopped feeding. Today I talked with her about it and made us much closer, even at her age 20 now, she still sleeps sometimes at my side in the feeding position. God bless you both for you will be a geat parents🌝

Na remember jud nako akong first few months in motherhood ani nga vlog.
    * 1. Baby crying inconsolably, you did everything, and you want to cry too because you really don't know what to do.
    2. #1 struggle: You don't know how to put your baby to sleep.
    3. The mom bun. The most trendy hairstyle for moms.
    4. Even having 5 minutes to yourself is a luxury
    5. Kanang maglisud ka sa imong milk supply. Breastfeeding is hard work.
    6. Kanang mapatulog nimo ang baby after 1 hour (or more) of karga karga, kanta kanta, etc. WINNER jud kaayo ang feeling ana, especially if 3AM in the morning.
    7. Kanang muhilak nga walay hinungdan or getting lost in your thoughts.
    8. Losing your sense of identity, especially if career woman ka tapos karun food supply ni baby na imong life goals.
    9. Kanang hubby nimo who's trying his best pero his best is not enough maskin unsaon. Like their boobs should breastfeed, too! Unfair kaayo 😂
    10. Kanang sige ra ka check if breathing si baby.
I could go on ani nga list. It's so overwhelming jud tuod. Pero kapit lang jud sizt. You are doing an awesome job. People will always have something negative to say, will always give their opinions on how you should do your job as a parent, pero just brush those things off. No one knows your baby like you do, so you do you.
Keep loving yourself pa din. You are the most important person in your child's life right now. So keep up the great work! Love you @Kryzzie!

All I can say Ms Kryz is enjoy the moment. Babies grow up too fast. Parenting doesn’t have a perfect formula. Each baby has their own style. If everybody else thinks you pamper your baby too much, let them be. It’s your baby and a mom knows what’s best for her baby even if it doesn’t suit the standards of others. You’re going to be just fine. I’m sure the coming months will be much better and you’ll get to enjoy Scottie more. Hugs to a wonderful mom like you. 🥰

Mamimiss dn natin yan paglaki nila and tayo lang meron sila this time so cuddle them as much they want to. You're doing a good job Kryz!!! auuuhh.. I'm a first time mom too and definitely felt the same more than 2 yrs ago.. it's so normal.. regarding kay baby Scotie that he won't stop crying, malamang nga kinakabagan sya, try to tap his tummy, if it feels naninigas or matigas, it means may kabag. what i do na turo ng parents namin and mga lola lolo, pahiran ng aceite de manzanilla. pero d naman naniniwala doctors. pero i stilladapt it kasi noong araw pa un na ginagawa sa babies pg kabagin. i still choose to believe sa matatanda na madaming experience :) also, i love how sweet you two are .. praying na you'll be the same until mgng lolo at lola na kayo.. GOD Bless Kryz and Slater and baby Scotie and Sky.. hehe such a beautiful family 😍♥️

Hi Kryz!!!! You are doing great! I am also a new Mom and my baby is now 18months old 😊 all that you are doing and experiencing is hard to accept that its normal haha why is it normal when its so hard right? Soak in all the emotions and be present in every moment because (I’m pretty sure you’ve heard this a thousand times but I wanna say it again) time flies so fast! Newborn stage is like a glimpse of their life that you’ll always want to remember 💕 cry with Scottie if you feel like crying, sleep with the baby when he’s sleeping, laugh when he laughs and just let it all out 💕 and also comforting a baby is never a sin and will never be wrong cause that’s what you are really supposed to do. Love you Kryz!

Hello Ms Kryz! You are both doing a great job as first time parents! I read on the internet that in 2017 study shows you should pick up your baby every time he cries. Babies who are cuddled more grow up to be healthier, kinder, less depressed, more empathetic and more productive! So good job!

Awww Kryz! You are doing such a great job! I love how you said you choose to comfort your son. As someone had already mentioned, I don’t believe in “wag mong sanayin sa pagkarga anak mo”. Psychologically, babies who are comforted by their parents a lot grow up to be secure people. While parents who hesitate or ignore their baby’s needs will have children who have either anxious or avoidant attachment style. It really affects them too and the relationships they will build in the future. So for me, I admire that you just go with what you know and what your instinct is telling you, loving and being there for Scott, the best way you know how. You are doing really well and Slater is too, cute kaayo mong duha. So much respect and love for you and your family ♥️

He might be in a growth spurt :) they tend to nurse more and be more fussy when they are in that stage. Hang in there, momma!

The first 6 weeks is usually the hardest. We don't get a lot of sleep but it gets better. Newborns don't have the ability to soothe themselves yet that's why they want to be comforted frequently. Pacifiers could help but not all babies like it either. You're doing a great job Momma. Comforting your newborn doesn't equate to spoiling him. It actually has positive impact on his psychological development. So keep loving on him because they don't stay this little forever. The nights are long but the days are short.

Hi Kryz my son was like that as well. I realized what I ate or drank made him gassy and cried a lot, probably b/c of tummy pains. When I stopped dairy products and stopped eating chicken and eggs he didn’t cry much and his eczema improved. So I removed certain allergen foods from my diet until I stopped breast feeding. We also use to massage his tummy to soothe him with some kind of ointment from the Philippines. Which also helped. Now that my son is older we learned he has allergies to milk, corn products, wheat, and chicken. Take care. It will get easier. ❤️

I hope you find vlogging and talking to us somehow therapeutic as you go along with the transition of being a new mom. Thank you for being thoughtful, you were always thinking of ways how we can be entertained by this vlog but honestly it’s real and very entertaining, you just showed how new moms cope with the changes of having a newborn, overwhelming it may seem. Remember that this is a phase we have to go through, and little by little you’ll get the hang of it. You are one tough momma Kryz!

Hi Ms. Kryz! If no one has said this to you yet, YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB! I'm a first time mom too and I can totally relate to your struggles. No one taught us about the 4th trimester, which is the 1st month of our newborn babies. I was able to get passed through it with the help of side lying position. Try it. It will make you and baby's life so much better. Just make sure that you and your baby are on tummy to tummy position, place a bolster at your baby's back to make sure that he is secured on side position and you can place your pregnancy pillow at your back too so that you'll be comfortable. All you gotta do all night is to let your boob out.
Also, don't mind those people who say that "baka masanay sa karga" remember this, MINSAN LANG SILA BATA 😊

It's difficult to enjoy every moment with a newborn. Some would say enjoy every moment bec time flies so fast. You can feel tired, exhausted, overwhelmed, that's okay. You can choose the moments you want to enjoy.
Soon enough, Scottie will no longer feed every 2 hrs, the sleepless nights will be over kasi same na ang sleep schedule nyo. He'll eat the same food you're eating and the baby and mom bond through the boob will lessen na rin. Hindi n'yo mamalayan ang changes. Just continue what you're doing Kryz, you're doing a great job. You are a strong woman, a strong mom of Scottie. Hang in there. Slater's always there to help too, kudos new parents, you are both awesome and rocking this parenthood. ❤
Thanks for sharing us your wonderful journey.

Love ur vlog kryz, at first i thought that after ul give birth u will have a nanny to take care of the baby, but i was wrong. Watching u so hands on with ur son makes me love u more. U r a real person. Watching this vlog kai naremember pod nako akong kaagi as a first time mom to my son Job. Dili gyud lalim mahimong inahan. U r blessed because u have slater to comfort u and back u up when u need help. It was also on those first year when i found out that my son has epilepsy. We are still human and we also have our limitations. Its okay to cry sometimes especially if kapoi na gyud. We just need to ask the Lord for strength everyday na makaya lang natu and ask Him also to help us become the mom that our child needs. So proud of u kryz. Will look forward to more of ur vlogs. Love u and Godbless u and ur little family.

I’m so proud of you, Kryz! You’re doing an excellent job. You looked tired but don’t worry, everything will be worth it. Ayaw lang jud give-up sa pag pa breastfeed niya. I breastfed my daughter for 25mos and I can’t believe nabuhat to nako. I know you can do it! I notice pud if mag cry sila, either
    Gutom
    Sleepy
    or
    Needs diaper change
    🌸🌸🌸
Just don’t forget to communicate with your support system labi na if you’re not feeling well. Eat good, relax and ka tug if naa ka’y time. Tug pirmi para ma energized ka. I love you, kryz. Am so proud of you! Magka-age ra diay ta.
Proud pud ko ni Slater coz He’s there for you. Importante jud kaayo ang support sa ato partner. Proud kaayo ko ninyong duha! 🌸🌸🌸🎉🎉🎉👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I never thought I would be able to relate this much to your life, you being kikay (and living in that dream house of yours lol). But I'm a first time mom (gave birth last May 26, 2020) with a high needs baby much like Scottie and I'm so glad I stumbled across this video. I've been a fan since your long-haired, digipermed phase and I am so amazed of the woman you've become! I also choose to comfort my baby in spite of what other, more experienced moms say because, like you, I can't bear the sight of my baby turning all red and sometimes purplish from crying so much. I have also read that you can't really spoil a child during their first 3 months of life. Attached parenting at the early stages actually lets them feel secure in your care and gives them the headspace to learn more about the world, without fear, and I would choose that any day over teaching them to become independent at such a tender time! (see the Babies series on Netflix for more info on babies. Love this series!)
    Hug, Kryz. Mommas help mommas.

Scottie is in growth spurt stage that means more cuddle! Waiting for next vlog with scottie! Love lots! More energy po para sa inyo ❤❤❤

True.. seeing an infant cry is heartbreaking. I think "di pa anaron ug kugos" is an old folk's tale anyway.. I read from another mother saying that you should do want you feel your child needs, all the love, hugs, carry him, sway him to sleep. Do it all coz he's gonna grow up so fast and you won't be able to do all those things anymore. Ayaw gyud tuo anang mga "ayaw anara" I've been told that a million times na! hahaha I baby needs all the love. that's it.

Each baby is unique...in case though, do try the swaddling, there are different kinds...white noise helps as babies are not used to a quite environment given when they were in the tummy, they were hearing a lot of noises inside our body...keeping them warm also helps...try swaddling him with wraps that has your smell...very effective for my baby. 😁 don’t worry, which ever you try and stick with, what’s important is that your baby will feel secure and loved. 😍 you can do this Momma 💕

Mommy Kryz... You're doing a great job dear. Just embrace the moment. I remembered asking the pedia about the feeding interval for EBF, she told me wala...it all depends on d baby. If d baby wants to nurse every 5mins then every 5mins it is. They'll always be hungry coz bmilk digest super fast compare to formula milk. ;) my li'l maddie still latches up to now and she's already 3 1/2 😄. Pedia said if kaya until 5yrs old...do it. She's done it din daw with her youngest. 🤗🤗🤗 play music and make normal house activities and noise when baby's sleeping... seems like they like it better....but as soon as it becomes super quiet that's when they wake up and starts crying 😃😃😃
