I can still remember my first month of being a mom. The first week was really a struggle and stressful but giving him schedule for drinking milk and sleeping really helps and up until now that he's almost 9 months, he's really into that schedule. But I regret that I didn't do to Elimination Communication at his early age but yeah it's enjoyable and you'll never know that he's growing up too fast. ❤️
I appreciate your honesty and candidness. ❤️ Definitely the first few weeks are difficult but it gets better. Savor every moment for it goes by fast.. it does not seem like it right now but it does. 😊 I have a 19 month old boy and my hubby and I misses having a tiny human. Hi, my wife and I enjoy watching your vlogs. Definitely some very helpful tips. We are soon to be parents residing in Korea. However, do you have any advice for parents who do not have the luxury of having a night nurse or a helper who can assist with chores around the house? As we watch your vlogs we kind of get intimidated when we see how exhausted you all are, even with all the help and support around you.
Work together as husband and wife, its a tough stage to have a newborn at first but as the days would pass it would be better... Each parents has their own way to cope in handling life with a newborn... We didnt have a night nurse, or a maid or a helper or a mother in law to assist us with our newborn, and on top of that we had a toddler to care for, we had work and i exclusively breastfed both my baby that time since i have an abundant milk supply too :) now my kids are 5 and 2 and everything is a beautiful memory that i always look back... When i had my 2nd newborn baby while my first born toddler would also need me it was always overwhelminh specially when its just me since my husband would need to go to work :) and i also never used bottle since my first born was nipple confused so i got scared to use any baby bottle... it was a really tough situation to be in but when husbands would always be there for their breastfeeding wife, it would make everything manageable... it will be sleepless nights at first but it will soon end... next thing you know, your baby is a toddler :) Note: it was so much of a trouble for me to exclusively pump when my first born got nipple confused... super hassle, and tiring and stressful... thats why after all of my experience if ever i would have a newborn in the future i will never use any baby bottle again... :) makes my life a lot easier to exclusively direct breastfeed
That was us a year ago! My days ran like feed every 2 hours (even hourly) then to realise IT'S 6PM ALREADY. Lol But then the feeding continues til evening, dawn - basically 24/7. It will get better Kryz! When your milk supply regulates to Scotties needs + when his tummy gets bigger, then you will get your 3/4hrs sleep ;) Now my baby is a year old, no more waking up at night! And when it is a tough day for you, just always think "it will get better" :)
Hindi ko lang talaga maisip na kaya mo pagsabayin lahat lahat, I can sense na nagsstruggle ka yet you look very contented and happy. hi kryzzie. mom of two here. my youngest is now a toddler. not an expert but sharing my experience only. you are right, hunger is one main factor of fussiness and short naps. but as scottie is getting bigger too, he becomes more conscious of his environment. babies like to feel secured and cuddled.sometimes he just doesnt want to be put down and just want to be be cuddled, cradled and swayed. dont feel like you have to always put it upon yourself brcause of your milk. your kasambahay or slater can buy you time by carrying him for a while even just for a few minutes. milk is not always the answer so take it easy. and havingg said that, now may be too early for you but as he grows older, maybe around 3 months old, you can start thinkig about your parenting style and routine. some prefer to "train" their babies to get used to being put down and being more independent. how to do that? many experts can help you with that. or you may choose the path wherein you prefer to jut cuddle and carry as he demands. anyway, nothing wrong with either style..just saying that as he grows bigger, just be reminded that there will be more reasons he will be fussy other than milk. theres the obvious one like poop or illness and the not so obvious one which is simply just attention (cuddle, being carried). the key is how you will want to handle his need for attention..that will depend on your parenting style and what works for everyone in the household. unforrtunately the seeking of attention, i find, is the least quickest to fix. unlike hunger where u just give the bottle, or poop which requires change of diaper which tkae 5 to 10 mins only. attention seeking depends on habit you want to form- whether it be getting used to cradles or independence..also, attention seeking happens more often than the rest. its pretty much a 24 hour thing that they do. unlike, say poop, which they do every few hours only or so and same with feeding.
When all my kids were newborns, I just swab their baby acne with fresh breastmilk and cotton. It clears up right away. Even use breastmilk to flush their eyes. ☺️
