I agree with Mary Beth - I Love the purple wire picnic basket/organizer!! That would be so handy to sit out on a table with all your plastic and paper goods!! only thing I would do is probably paint it - not a huge fan of the lavender!! Awesome find!!!

They allow bags (within reasonable size) like yours on all Disney rides and experiences. Just make sure you check what other things they allow you to bring or not into the parks.

It is definitely a picnic caddy. You were spot on regarding, napkins, utensils, and plates. The section that you thought perhaps cups is for condiments, for example, ketchup bottle, salad dressings, etc.

Love that you felt sorry for that Muppet book and tape, so you couldn't leave it behind! I do that too. When I was a kid, I used to feel sorry for the orange and brown crayons because they weren't used as often. And I used to rotate my stuffed animals, so each of them could take turns sleeping with me! Things have feelings, they really do! ;)
the big square meshy container is for carrying your picnic stuff from the kitchen to your out door table (thought nothing says you couldn't use it indoors) yes - the section with the "arm" is for your napkins, separate sections for your cutlery, the big area in the bottle is probably wears you would stash your paper plates, an the other square space up top - ? - condiment squeeze bottles? that one I'm not sure of - great find
Hi, I'm in the UK and my gran had the same wire basket for years. It's for your desk hun, the spring thing had a paper block under it and the bottom space was for sheets of paper. The rest was for pens, etc.I have no idea where she got it so maybe she just used it for that purpose. Loved seeing your haul items. Thank you.
that purple wire basket is definitely for plates, napkins, utensils, etc for when bring outside and such I have a few of them for when we have parties to put on the tables outback at the pool and on the deck so no matter where someone is sitting they have access to everything and they don't get knocked over or blown away! I love this type of video it is so fun I think garage sales are so fun and always find hidden gems so to speak lol
That backpack cracked me up. My 9 yr old son kept describing the bag he wanted for school this past year and this is what he wanted. I thought he meant a messenger bag but I looked some up on Amazon and this is exactly what he wanted. I found him a somewhat affordable one, bc now under armor and the sporty brands make them and they're all $60-$70 which I refuse to pay for a 3rd grade bag. I think his was $20 for an all black no name brand, he loved it and it lasted all year but as a parent my only gripe is that it barely holds a binder and anything else. Luckily he didn't need to carry much, just his daily folder and lunch box, but with those items it was basically full. Cracked me up that you got so nostalgic and my son talked about them like they're brand new and so cool, if he only knew....haha great find.
I went to a bunch of sales this past weekend with my 10 year old. Got some awesome things and I think my haul should be up tomorrow or the next day. Thanks for sharing.

I love going to yard sales and flea markets. 1 cup Cascade (not the one with bleach, powder detergent), 1 cup Clorox 2 and 5 gallons of hot water- let the table cloth soak overnight and then launder as usual. Don't forget to test your fabric for bleeding in hot water ( I think they call this color fasting). I have used this recipe for stains for years. I have had great success in removing grass, chocolate, coke, red clay and blood-even on clothes that had been washed and dried multiple times prior to being soaked. I like the books with tapes. I think the Muppets book and being able to record your own voice reading can help the kids with reading and speaking a new language. I love the cooler-that is awesome. At the Boys and Girls Club we used to use clear contact paper to "laminate" index cards and posters.
For that stain on the tablecloth, you might try Persil. If you have not tried it, it works really good. Rub some on the stain and let it sit for a few minutes before you wash it. Then wash it with Persil. It also had a nice smell, too.
I've been watching your videos for about four months and I was hooked. You and I both have a love for the 80s and 90s and I've looking for books from that area. I recently found a two books by Jamestown Heritage Publishing series that I haven't been able to find any where else. Keep up the great work! :)

My favorite find was one you didn't pick up. I collect the jars with the wired tops and there was a fantastic one I would have loved. It had sort of a pot belly (which I love), but ended up with 4 sides because they had been flattened. And it was probably 1/2 gallon. The wiring looked green. I was screaming at the video for you to go back and get it.
I would have totally bought the heckle and jeckle thing (whatever it was lol) and the Power Rangers pattern! even though I have no use for them 😆 also love children's books with cassettes! nostalgia is a powerful thing ❤

Found mine at a thrift store though, and it's a bit smaller - it had the name of some "sewing group" stitched into the front flap (I spent hours taking it out, lol). I love it for nature walks and things. Aww, love Mercer Mayer books, they're just adorable! (Oh, you may want to listen to the record your own side of the Muppet cassette before you listen to it around any little ones... just in case! LOL Some kids may have thought they were being funny at some point.) Yes!! That wire rack is totally for BBQs and things - they're so handy! I thought I got lucky and found while thrifting, but it wasn't taken care of and had rust issues and - yuck. It even has handles so you can fill it up and lug it out. The deeper section behind the utensil area I believe it for serving utensils even. Awesome find! Tyfs! Best of wishes to you and yours chicky! ♥♥

I am 77 and still love to thrift and go to garage sales. I only get to go two Saturdays a month which is probably a good thing.
