I think the little bottles with the spice rack could look really great in a craft room with glitter, buttons and confetti . You know just little things that you use to do crafts with. I also love the light for the breezeway. Great finds! My older brother's favorite toy was a glow worm when he little and his youngest loves them now. It's awesome how things come back around.
Such awesome finds! Loved all the nostalgic items. So fun to find items like that~when thrift shopping. I was born in the 60's but my children were 80's and 90's babies...so I love items from those years. I am pretty sure we have every Berenstain Bears book ever published. Our kids loved those books. I also like finding Polly Pocket, Cabbage Patch Kids Stuff and I also collect Little Golden Books.
My sisters and I had clowns like that in the mid 70's, but I always kinda remembered them as plastic blue, pink, and green. They were probably based on the wooden clowns. There were also little plastic rods you could place on them at their shoulders to connect clowns and stack even more onto them. I remember us playing with them so much! I'm sure they are still somewhere at my parents home along with most everything else we ever played with!
I have the same cheeseboard! I use it all the time, when I buy a nice chunk of cheese, I unwrap it and put it on the cheeseboard, then slip it into a gallon Ziplock bag and store all in the fridge. So convenient and good for slicing calorie friendly slices, too! Great find! Also the tray warmer...I had two of those for years....they were great for Thanksgiving dinner with my kids and grandkids straggling in. Would not put rolls directly on the tray though. They would dry out. Place in a bowl with damp napkin over top. This is great for your small side dishes...keeps everything warm.
from the vlogs you have shared that have your sister in them, I can completely believe the story about your sister and the glow worm - not trying to be mean - your sister is such a character I can believe "she might have squeezed your tummy to make your face light up" hah-hah. (My mom told me that when she brought me home, she said my brother - 4 years older - took one look and said, "OK, now you can take her back!") Older siblings cn be such a joy!
That adorable skinny spice rack would look cute white washed with tiny colored buttons and craft embellishments in the craft room. The wire baskets are awesome!!! If they stack great mitten storage.
Great haul, loved all your items. Really liked those clowns, so unusual. The little tykes van was not for the dollhouse though, it's too big. The dollhouse had a little car that looked just like the ride on little tykes kids car, the orange and yellow one. So cute!
That food warmer is awesome! A lady at our church has a few, and they are amazing. She puts pans of food (think 9x13 pans) on there and they stay nice and warm for several hours! I have been keeping my eye out for one. Also, don't throw that cheese slicer out if the wire breaks. They're designed to have the wire replaced or tightened as nevessary.
When I was married back in 1985 one of the first things I bought myself was the exact same marble cheese cutter but brand new at the time. It got thrown out over the years and recently I picked one up as at a Thrift store as I missed it and it was always practical.
That bookcase is great, we love ours! $10 is great it looks brand new!!!! We use ours for shoes at the front door...you can do so many things with that case😁
So many fabulous finds. Love the canvas book stand. Such a special glow worm story. Do you remember the small glow bug collectibles of the 80's? Our children had them and I still have the Grandma glow bug they sent to my Mum :)
That warming plate can be used in crafts. Melt crayons on the warmer, different colors, and then drag paper through it and will stick to the paper. Great for creating greeting cards, ATCs , tags. It is so much fun the see the results. Hint: use metallic crayons with red or white or green for Christmas cards. Have fun.
Great finds 😍 I always enjoy watching your videos definitely one of my favorite TH-camrs! And the easiest way to sell stuff is definitely through Depop ☺️ good luck
Oh my gosh! That story about you coming home and sister thinking you might be a glow worm is precious! My son was early 5 weeks and we used to say he looked like a glow worm too! we even got one when he was little so he could have that memory :) You did great on your hauls!
I have the Little Tykes School bus with the people that I had bought for our first grandchild. He is now 22 years old. Also I have a Play school School House that was my children in the 70s.
I love Glo Worms! I had mine forever. They are just the cutest. And I'm pretty sure my husband told me he had that 101 Dalmations sheet set when he was little. Such great finds!
I've been selling my airbrushed shirts on Etsy for the last 4 years and started selling beauty products on Ebay at the beginning of this year. Both are so completely different but in the end if you take your time learning to sell it is so worth it. It can be really intimidating at first but the more you explore on how to use each platform it gets so much easier I promise!
I had those 101 dalmations sheets when i was a kid! They were my favorite! I was so upset when my mom had to get rid of them because our dryer tore a hole in them! She bought an extra flat sheet and made me curtains out of them!
nice haul....love the swag lamp...I am a HUGE berenstein bear fan....read em to my girls all the time, now read em to my granddaughter!! You have been busy xo Michelle P.S. I hear ya on the vingtage stuff...:)
I just stumbled upon your channel and i'm amazed that we are from the same area! so we most likely shop at the same goodwill/ thrift stores! such a small world! love your videos!
I sell my thrifted clothing on eBay. It's a great way to support my shopping habit. Unless you plan to sell a lot you are better off not having an actual eBay store, but just selling as you go. The fees are pretty reasonable. Love your videos!
I sell on ETSY and it's been a lovely experience! What's great about Etsy is that they have a huge seller handbook that gives all kinds of wonderfully helpful advice from how to list items to how to market and keep track of your finances. Vintage items seem to be a large market on Etsy so I think it would be a great place to start. My number one tip for either Etsy or Ebay is to have great product photography. We're a visual species and great photos will sell your products. A simple white background and some natural light can do wonders! (But again Etsy provides lots of tips on this too). Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck!
Hi Kieren Cool finds! Love that two tiered spice rack! PB and J sandwiches are my go to comfort food with a cold glass of milk! Achieve sign is really nice, is it all one piece? Ooooh I hate clowns! I do not think they are in any way, shape or form funny! Just my opinion though! LOL! The Little Tikes construction vehicle is a front end loader, my boys had those when they were little. Please show us what the light looks like in your breezeway when you install it! TFS and have a fantastic weekend!
Hi! Great video. Selling venues: Marketplace on Facebook (if you're on there and in groups) Letgo (an app in Google play store) Offer Up (also in Google play store) Craigslist is also a good one (in Google play store) as well. Good luck! P.S. The little tikes "loader" thing is actually a bobcat. The dump truck is a Euk, it hauls lots more product than the regular dump truck.
I keep toying with the idea with opening up a Etsy shop to sell vintage things but I'm nervous about it. There are TH-camrs who explain how to do it and take you through the process. The bookcase you got for your reading center seems like a really good deal. The spice spinner is cool
Awesome finds! I used to sell on Etsy and I'm on depop these days and I'm really liking #depop. You don't have to pay anything upfront, they only take a small percentage once you sell an item. 💖
Dont know what grade you teach but that old flat warming tray is super fun for melting crayon art! just lay your white paper on the warm tray and color

My sisters and I had clowns like that in the mid 70's, but I always kinda remembered them as plastic blue, pink, and green. They were probably based on the wooden clowns. Great haul, loved all your items. Really liked those clowns, so unusual. The little tykes van was not for the dollhouse though, it's too big. The dollhouse had a little car that looked just like the ride on little tykes kids car, the orange and yellow one. So cute!

The spice rack would also work wonderfully in your craft room for glitter, sequins, buttons and other small items.

Hi!
Great video.
Selling venues:
Marketplace on Facebook (if you're on there and in groups)
Letgo (an app in Google play store)
Offer Up (also in Google play store)
Craigslist is also a good one (in Google play store) as well.
Good luck!
P.S.
The little tikes "loader" thing is actually a bobcat.

Love the head piece
Love the chandelier, jealous, sorry my punctuation will not work
The building clowns were around in the late 50's early 60's. My pediatrician had them in one of the room he had his office in.
Great stuff!
Dont know what grade you teach but that old flat warming tray is super fun for melting crayon art! just lay your white paper on the warm tray and color
