I do like yur cleaning videos I like the music too, I was thinking bout my favorite cleaner is simple green it's smells good and is non toxic it cleans almost everything leaves goods smell
Last year switched to all toys staying in the playroom, but we have a basket in the two other rooms they often take toys to. We use those baskets for quick cleanup and return the toys to the playroom weekly.
My daughter has a bigger toy area in our basement, she’s got toys in a hutch in our living room and her Barbie house and accessories are in her room. We’re expecting baby 2 so I definitely need to declutter

I have a Dyson vacuum also, and I won't purchase any other kind. I have never been disappointed!
The water from cleaning the couch can actually be color from the textile itself. You know when you wash a pair of jeans for the first time, the water turns blue. I think this is the same, not just pure dirt. :)
Also, I've noticed that your pets are curious on your cleaning. They always seem to like being near you, so it would be nice if you could show them some affection during your filming. I'm sure you do it plenty off camera, but it would be nice to see it too.
I would paint the unit. I have a scandi theme myself and love light furniture.
My two had a play box downstairs and a few upstairs. They didn’t have that many toys preferring to be outside.
My grandson has a toy corner in my living room.
I’m currently packing for a holiday cruise around the Mediterranean 39:23 with my husband. I hate leaving my dogs, but need a break! Lol lol ❤
Great job as always! I think the reason it turns that dark color is because some of the pigment might be removed from the couch. I would love to see someone use this machine on a while couch and see how dirty the water is. I only saw you and a two other people use a fabric cleaning for the couch and all the couches were pigmented. I think gray will be nice it will also match your fireplace stones.
I was thinking the same thing with the pigment. I have an aqua blue couch - microfiber - I just got the little green clean machine a few weeks ago (I love using it for my car). Anyway I used it on the couch - and I usually have quilt over it. It is rarely used it's just me. It was the same color water. So funny bcuz I thought my gosh I need to do this five more times. I probably did it once more but will do it regularly. I brought it to my sons to tackle his couches.

I would paint the entertainment center the bright white to match your fireplace.
In South Africa we are fully in winter now so its cold every day. I am busy getting my scrapbooking up to date and doing needlework. The next big projects ....wanna try tie dye but is still too scared. So first gonna get a white shirt from a thrift store and then try with that.

Have you heard of Beyond Paint for doing your TV console? You don't have to sand or strip the wood and it's supposed work great. A bit pricey for a gallon but a little goes a long way. This Crazy Life used it on her bathroom cabinets and for furniture restoring if you want to check it out
Thanks, yes I have heard a little, but did not know you did not have to sand! I just bought paint for the console from Home depot, but will check it out still!! I like time-saving when it comes to painting!
Honestly I think as a mom of 7 kids ,I can tell you that your kids don't need to many Toys , I've learned that more toys more mess and kids just pull everything out and throw them everywhere and that's not playing that's making a mess so what I been doing is keeping just the toys they play the most and if they get toys from birthdays or Christmas I declutter the old ones , I remember when I had my first baby , my diaper bag was full of everything plus my purse and then I had my 2 baby I bought a bigger bag , then my 3 baby I was like I don't use this I don't use that, same with toys a bunch of toys I started decluttering now I have 7 kids my baby is 18 months old and she has what she needs to play base on her age she doesn't have not even 6 toys to play with, my other kids have like 4 to 6 things to play with and I do bought them toys but if I see they are no longer playing with what they have or they are interested in something for their age and ask my other kids if they want something to keep and declutter the other ones and is been working for me and not a mess,
The dark entertainment unit is quit pretty as is, I would use lighter color weaved baskets to hold items and lighter decor objects. I have a darker vintage buffet, which was my husband’s grandmothers. I use a light colored table runner on it then my decor pieces will pop!
You r doing so well preparing and nesting. I was like you with all this projects that i need yo fix before my daughter was borne. ❤ i dm you on instergram as you said i could. I see you have so many good idea with organisation of toys. I had the toy i my daughter room but in a big closeted so it was out of ghe way and i tryed to change the toy so she had rotating of her toys .
I think the entertainment center would help brighten the room a little bit if you painted it. Maybe you could make it look similar to the coffee table and then they would match.
Maybe paint the entertainment center a med gray color? It would be a compromise in the middle for u & ur hub! Plus white or cream furniture show scratches & dirt so quickly! ESP w toddlers & pets!:) also would love to see a loveseat or chaise in the windowed alcove in ur primary BR? Just a suggestion:) u are always so motivating jenia!! U look great!❤

I would definitely paint the entertainment unit lighter. It does not go at all with the room. You must be exhausted at the end of the day!

I try not to let myself get too tired - I only do stuff around the house during my spikes of energy, about 1-2 hours a day on a good day! 😊

Could the blackness of the water after cleaning your couch be due to some of the color releasing? Much like clothing will often in the washing machine?
Hmmm, we will see once I clean light things like the mattress. Good point.
Please don't paint it off white , choose a nice white. It would compliment the fireplace very well. Then it won't matter if the couch is dark a win-win for you and your husband. Try to stick to a theme shabby or farmhouse would be great.

Great job that you are getting help from your kids, and making your son put back the tissues teaches him a valuable lesson. Do you have an emergency plan in place to take care of your kids in case you have to go unexpectedly to the hospital (I had to go in for a few days at 5 months pregnant with my youngest) Also our nephew's wife had her twins at 29 weeks. They had to be in NICU but are doing fine now, they just finished kindergarten. I am concerned because your family isn't here and your in-laws aren't that close, either.
