Scaring the Hoes (stylized in all caps; also known as Scaring the Hoes, Vol. 1) is a collaborative studio album by American rappers JPEGMafia and Danny Brown. It was released on March 24, 2023, by AWAL Records. It was produced solely by JPEGMafia and features a sole guest appearance by independent Maryland rapper Redveil. The album had been teased for a year leading up to the release of its first single "Lean Beef Patty" on March 13, with the album's official title being announced the same day. On March 21, the title track from the album was released as a single.

These guys are the best duo in Hip hop since Run The Jewels. Which is also one of my favourite songs from the album my only gripe is I wish it was longer.

Immediate standout was Danny on orange juice Jones, biggest parts that have grown on me are the jpeg verse on jack Harlow combo meal and all of Fentanyl Tester. I've loved Jpeg since veteran and Danny since Old.. so crazy to see their evolution 🧬, combination 🧩 and continued growth as I get older w all these people I started listening to early in high school

btw guys if you didn't know the significance to the song title burfict and the sample choice, burfict was a player in the NFL who was regarded as one of the dirtiest players who injured multiple players, and the sample was one of the many NFL theme songs, its such a perfect title choice for a song on this album lol and the "you think yk me" is from the WWE wrestlers Edge theme song so finnnng hard

After you do reactions, you should have a follow up review videos. Each of you comes with their pros, cons and other notes. You discuss and then at the end give your ratings. That would be cool imo

I've become a fan of both of them thanks to this project. HUGE fan of this album. On repeat still. I got my girlfriend addicted to a few songs too even though she didn't like it at first. Now she asks to play them 😂.
I will say one of my favorite tracks is "God Love You" because of the beat! Sounds like a leaked Kanye demo or something. Login Kanye LOL

This album rules, on first listen it's a lot like a Gorillaz album to me in so far as I wasn't immediately gripped by every individual track, however the more I get to listen to each of them the farther in love I fall with them as unique pieces.
