Yes man, Advocate Harbor runs at a totally different pace eh. It is beautiful for sure. I still have family in Apple River. I know people that have done the hike in to Eatonville but I haven't done it myself. I'm hoping to get there soon. I just recently learned the 3 Sisters are a piece of West Africa that separated from Pangea and ended up here.
Thanks for sharing your adventures! It has been a while since I've been in that area on the Dual Sport. Do you happen know if the bridge between Edgett Beach and West Beach is still out? I was hoping to go adventuring through there to get to Advocate but then I saw your video and think I need to reconsider my route. That was such a picturesque ride and then the slab ride back to Parrsboro is reminiscent of the Cabot Trail.
I’m a home care nurse and I work out of advocate often. People are so lovely there. I’m always treated so well. I love riding down there too. I took my VStrom there last week!! The Eatonville road is a fun one to ride. Myself and @trailtrashadv took it last year and it was a blast!
@@AdventuresNearby Can't wait! From what I remember on Eatonville road on the boundary of the park there's a picnic/campsite that is either the site of the old town or close to it.
