If you're wondering why you died instantly at the top of Top-Hat Tower, it is because of a glitch that when you bounce with cappy the exact moment you touch the lava, mario takes damage but doesn't make a sound.

Hey Ant, this might be impossible, but maybe try to get a mod where if youre outside of a capture, a timer couts down and you die, so you essentially need to be un captures for the entire gaem
