This is a very good tutorial! All info needed in just 15 minutes. I sing really bad compared to you but I also have the ear for hearing when it is bad and knows in theory how it should sound, thats why this tool is so great. People can say autotune is cheating as much as they want, I dont care. I want to make music alone and then I just have to sing too because noone else does it for me. And I rather "cheat" than let it sound terrible :)
used this in a studio 2 years ago and now doing all music at home... best tutorial out there. straight to the point, all the info needed, and easily understandable
thank you Adrian, this is a good video. You are a good presenter. Fast enough, not too fast. Enough depth, not too much. Dead space edited out. Nice job!
nice one - helped me, thanks a lot. down right it gots a "auto scroll" button. think you struggle like me - at least while filming; old little window - press play and scroll back, much scrolling (if didn't set a range).
Thanks for this great tutorial, Adrian. Since I have the full version, I wonder why the tuning options between the magnifying glass and that brick-like icon are greyed out for me and cannot be used? The second row with the glue icon etc. is the same, unfortunately...😞
The Rewire thing should be a flashing yellow box on your monitor until the user figures it out. I work fast and don’t read manuals, an unfortunate habit developed somewhere in my decades of producing. Point being, I missed this for a while and was frustrated with Waves’ ‘bad’ plug-in. It is anything but intuitive.
I'm frustrated. Even if I inserted ReWire to an aux input and use WavesTune in the vocal track, they still don't seem to lock up. It's very difficult to edit. I know I'm doing something wrong but I'm not sure what it is.
Yo Adrian! I just bought 'Waves Tune' last night (mostly to clean up glitches in my guitar solos) and your video has me off to a great start! Hey, if I buy you a really cool house right next door to me will you move in and teach me all of the great stuff you know??? :). Thanks for sharing.
Great tutorial. I've had and used this plugin for a couple years but learned a few new things here. Thanks! P.S. I think you might be working a little too hard by adjusting each note individually, but the result sounds great.
Is it possible to use Waves Tune in FL Studio too? Because I can't find ReWire in FL Studio and I didn't find anywhere where I could install it into FL Studio 21 :/
Hey Adrian! Thanks for such a good tutorial 🙌🏻 A question: what if there’s a part of the track that you do NOT want to tune (like a phrase that was sang perfectly in tune). Do you still need the plug-in to scan the entire thing? I’ve tried to avoid scanning the “perfectly in tune” parts before but notice that the plug-in always scans my track in the background. Even when I don’t want it to do it. It can be frustrating 🙃, please lmk if this has happened to you and what you do in these cases. Thanks again bro!
Hi Hugo! Yes, the plugin always scans every section the first time you play it after you add the plugin. A simple solution would be to automate the plugin to be bypassed during that section you don't want to tune, and then to have it turn back on after that. You can also duplicate the track and have one with the pitch-corrected phrases and another one without the pitch correction, and have them both go into a bus track, or group track if you're using reaper. Good luck!
Hey Adrian: I sent a limo for you! In the mean time... After we have painstakingly edited some parts in Waves Tune is there a way to 'protect' the work we have done? Perhaps Bounce that portion of the tuned track to a new track so that we won't lose our edits, that sort of thing? I see right from that start that things can go wrong if we are editing one part of a track (region in Logic) and then move on to another part to make further corrections. Can you tell us how you handle this, or do you just process the whole track and call it good? Thanks again for the good work you do to help the rest of us. Damn, I hope you like this house!
Mas,cara setting waves tone untuk merekam track dengan durasi 15 menit ke atas bagaimana ya?kok di daw saya hanya 10 menit saja yang bisa di rekam di wave tone...
Hey Adrian, Simple question here, and I apologize for my naivety (kinda an old dude here) but this is not a standalone program, so what is the best (and maybe cheapest) program to use this with? I have no idea where to even get such a program.
If you're looking for a cheap DAW you should probably look at Reaper. It's not super beginner friendly, so I also recommend Studio One. If you have a Mac check out Logic Pro.
This is hands down the most detailed explanation of how to use this plugin! Huge thank you to you
No problem! I'm glad it was helpful.
Had waves tune for years and didn't know how to use it haha I'll give it a shot in my next mix thanks
same! lol
This tutorial's so useful dood. I've had that plugin for a year and never knew how to use it 😂
Thanks! Haha yeah the tools are a bit confusing.

And btw, I didnt know about the rewire, will try that. I use cubase but I have seen the rewire is present.
Agreed. I've looked at a few videos on this plug-in. This one is a good one and I learned a few new things!

Nice job man - really broke down all of the major components of the tool along with a very good workflow approach

One of the best waves tune tutorials, thank you. 👍🏼
Thank you! I need to re-watch this one, I had to use the plugin the other day and I couldn't remember how to use it 😂
Me too, I've got it stored. Great that you show how to use the tools too. 👍🏼

How do you apply the correction voices that are repeated in the song?

Hi, how do you save this whole thing up ? Do you have to export it ? Please share
What do you mean? If you save the same way you normally do in your DAW, it will save whatever you do inside of waves tune.
nice tutorial
Thanks!
Thank You Men !
No problem!

Yes it would be better if you bounce the track after you tune, it will also free up processing power in your computer
Thank you, thank you! 💥💥💥
Any time!
I just want to know if I should choose waves tune real time or this but there is no comparison vid for it
It depends on what you're trying to do, they're completely different.
Thanks so much!!!
No problem!
what do you do when done with editing ? bounce track ?
I just leave waves tune as the first plugin in my chain, but you can bounce it as well.
Thanks a lot
No problem!
Omg, Fool the world by Drake Bell :D
ReWire is deprecated - so how to navigate Waves Tune without - thnx

I'm glad I could help! That happened to me as well and I had to read the manual haha. Thank you for watching!
@@Adrian_ haha, thanks for reading the Manuel. 🎵💜
How to tune the vocal with 430 hz freq with waves tune?
The ReWire on an empty track did nothing for me, but I’m in Pro Tools
I like me your voice
For me, the rewire was key
