@@mohammedaminebentaibi6777 Secure employment first. It's a oil & gas city built on $100.00+ for a barrel of oil. 30% vacancy in downtown since the oil prices collapsed. It's also very big in terms of total Sq miles. Still affordable compared to other big cities. Lived in Calgary all my life. I enjoy the scenery, the people not so much. Wealth, power, materialism still a common trait here. Lots of nimbys, power tripping aholes, manics in big trucks. However Lots of good people too, very young population, kind of a paradox.

Calgary has a larger footprint than Toronto but with half the population Toronto has, it's a lot less crammed and pretty well spread out. Also a way smaller downtown compared to Toronto, with the majority of the population living in the extreme North or South residential quadrants, 15-20 minutes from downtown.
Not many people live in the downtown core. Downtown is for offices and work from 8AM to 5PM. Also most office workers are working from home. 8 Ave (no cars allowed) is where most of pedestrians in the downtown core.
A lot more to see in Calgary than those areas though you did show some nice scenery. But if you are going to drive around filming I think you should at least take a moment to blur out other people’s license plates.
Calgary is the only major affordable city in Canada for current and future generations Canadians and Immigrants. Calgary also has fastest growing tech, finance and film industry. Moreover, Calgary is also world’s cleanest and most livable city. I am already seeing some of my friends and family members who work from home moving to Calgary to buy home and get rid of expensive rental life in ON or BC. We will see more people moving from BC or ON to Calgary in coming years. Calgary is also sunniest ☀️ city in Canada
Don't you mean driving in hell? since I was a kid everyone i know would prefer to park outside of downtown to take the train in because its a nightmare with all the different turns you have to make.
I actually see plenty of people here. I visited Montreal in 2018, it was very different. No people. Montreal had 1/4 of the total people out on the streets than you see here in this video.

Great driving tour. Beautiful scenery along the way. Thanks for the virtual tour around Calgary Canada.
I love that contrast at 6:55 of the modern building on the left and the older one on the right.
Yes
You gotta record a post 5pm cruise in the Beltline/Misson area. That's where all the people are. Great vid!
I love reading all these comments from tourists, and people who have never visited, singing our praises. If only they knew.....
They knew what I'm thinking about moving either here or to montreal any tips man?

Lots of homeless and crack heads. I've been robbed 4 times in 2 weeks.

Great driving
I miss Calgary I moved 7 years ago now and live in Duncan
Eerie how there is like so little people on the side walks at least compared to Toronto..
A) Calgary never was pedestrian-friendly. B) Downtown vacancy still around 30%. C) Covid
