  • Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta, Canada and has a metro area of 1,447,143 people. Edmonton is famous for its beautiful river valley park system, the North Saskatchewan River Valley, which offers over 100 kilometers of recreational trails, wildlife viewing, and city views. The river valley also contains many parks, including Fort Edmonton Park, Canada's largest historical park. If the great outdoors is not your target, the city also offers West Edmonton Mall, the largest shopping mall in the Western Hemisphere. On top of that, Edmonton has a vibrant theater community, a busy cycle of annual festivals, national sports teams active year-round, and wonderful winter recreational opportunities.

    I like how edmonton has lots of mid rise buildings that don't cause as many shadows like some of calgary's. Both skylines look amazing though, Calgary's looks like a bustling work city while Edmonton has a bit of that but with a more relaxed tinge.

    I have such a thing about old buildings; all those examples of modern architecture and the building to the right at 20:00 caught my eye right away.

      Every time I visit Edmonton, it feels like the whole city is under construction. Like they're still finishing to build it from scratch.

      As soon as they finish one spot they move on to the next only to go back to the first one 6 months later and tear it up again!

    Not trying to be offensive but this place looks so dry and desolate. I started to to feel stressed just watching this video. Where are the nice supermarkets, cool restaurants, pubs, shoes and clothing store plazas? I know Canada is a very beautiful place but this video is just giving bleak vibes. All I saw was old buildings and bush along sidewalks. How many miles would you have to drive to see a more scenic view? Based on this video alone I understand why so many people are leaving Canada and why Canada is looking for people to live there.

      Welcome to the majority of North America, if you want a lively city go to MTL or NYC. 😂

    I came from a 3rd world country in the Middle East. I thought Canada is a developed and first-world country like European countries, the US, Japan, South Korea, Australia, News Land, and Singapore with the western standard, and also I thought is one of the best. The first time 2018 I arrived in Vancouver, I was shocked. I saw a lot of homelessness, trash, crime, ugly urbanism, and rusty houses in downtown and east Vancouver. I saw, homeless people, pooping and peeing everywhere and it's so common. nobody cares. I was shocked again. I endured for 3 years but every day going worst. late in 2022I decided to move to the east coast because I thought that place has a stronger culture. I chose Montreal. I had heard it is the capital of art and civilization in Canada. it was absolutely wrong. Canada is Canada. I was shocked again, again, and again. the wave of homelessness, graffiti, vandalism, bad smell, terrible infrastructure especially roads in or out of the city, and above all, you can see trash everywhere. plastic bags, tissues, water bottles, and disposable cups. You cannot see any street or park or public place without these. This is impossible. surprisingly nobody cares. neither the people nor the government!!!!!!! please, don't be fooled by the advertisement about a good Canada. please, be careful. most of the things about a good Canada are deception.

      I'm not really pro-American, but the bitter and dark truth is, that Canada is not a developed or clean country like the European countries, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, or the US. You don't need to travel around Canada to find this sad truth, just watch some random videos from those countries and then compare them to Canada's videos. This was my wish that it was not true because I have to live here.@@verycherrybombr

    • @verycherrybombr
      @verycherrybombr 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@alborzdmavandi8190 Okay, now you're clean the US clean and developed which is just not true in a lot of places. Everything you saw in Vancouver happens in America 10 times as bad.
