      @Thforklift126 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      It's not that he is all about himself, so much as it is that Brock begrudgingly participates in a profession for which he does not actually love. Thus, his attitude, be it when re-negotiating his contracts or pertaining to certain events/match-ups, is along the lines of, 'Okay, you want me? Here's what I will be paid, here's how many dates a year I'll show up, and here's what I'm willing and not willing to do.' That WWE has continually met those terms is more of an indictment on them than it is Brock. I'm not defending him, I am just pointing out that we shouldn't be surprised when he comes off as selfish. He seemingly doesn't love this occupation and wishes he could so something else for the same low risk and workrate; which in my own adrift estimation is why we get perspectives such as this one from Ambrose.

      @@Thforklift126 Agree but only a slight problem. Brock in his contract was able to do pretty much whatever he want. And I mean creative freedom, who he wants to face, whether he wins or loses, gets the title on him or not (I think), etc. The guy has some blame in this, and while Vince is the main reason why he's world champuon 8 months at a time, he still has a lot of things he can do to entertain or please himself with. The roster hasn't been filled with so much talented wrestlers, and your telling me not even a handful of those guys are interesting to work with Brock? You get what I'm saying?

    The problem was the envision of the match itself. From Dean vs WWE’s way of looking at things. I would imagine Dean’s envision of the match was, as he already said, Brock can kill Dean with his barehands at any minute. So, where the tables can turn, is just destroying him with weapons. Yes he can’t win without them, but that’s why the street fight works to his advantage. That’s when the tables turn, you really think Dean will win, then Brock just hits an F5 out of nowhere and wins. Both men are beaten up. Both men went through hell.
    Unfortunately for Dean, that’s not how Brock Lesnar has been booked since his return in 2012. Brock was going to, and did destroy him without Dean really doing much of anything in that match besides a *few* weapon hits. That’s it. And that’s how Lesnar has been booked since he came back. That’s just the fact that Brock was going to come in and pummel him then leave like the Beast WWE tries to bring him out to be.

    There was no way it was going to be an "epic" match, and no way that it should. Dean Ambrose shouldn't be able to go head to head with Lesnar. It also shouldn't be a weapons match. (To borrow a quote, if you bring a chair, you'll still be fighting Lesnar but he'll have your chair.)
    What it could have been was a story about a machine and a man who's too crazy/stubborn/dumb to give up. It should have ended quickly but not before Lesnar points down to Ambrose and looks over to Paul and laughs as if to say, "Can you believe this idiot?" before F5ing him into next week. That's the match that pushes forward both narratives. Not the forgettable match we got.

      Daniel Bryan did a smaller guy vs Lesnar match right, in my opinion.

      @Brown N' Proud Dothead I'm not a huge Daniel Bryan fan. I'm just talking about my opinion of one match, not pretending I'm a wrestling expert.

    I wonder if Ambrose is drunk or stoned, or both.

    Dean's interview skills are as bad as Roman's promo skills
