    Spirulina was removed from green formula last year. There wasn't much in there anyway. Took a while for the old packaging to get used up, but there's only chlorella in there, no spirulina. Noodles and rice are usually pan fried in highly refined oils which the liver gags on. Skin issues are liver issues. To clean liver, drink lots of water, more bitter greens (bitter melon should be common out there) and take a couple spoonfuls lecithin granules daily to help emulsify fats. The not eating till 4 should help give body time to cleanse as long as you drink lots of water.

    You will have perfect skin if you eat 2 to 3 lbs of dark leafy greens per day, preferably raw.

    • @cruciferousvegetable
      @cruciferousvegetable 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      dj121 If you juice it or cook it you can. My meals weigh about 3 lbs a piece. If I eat 3 meals a day thats 9 lbs if I eat one meal I would have to be on the 2 lb side. The way I did it was green smoothies. My skin was strangely glowing and perfect. I dont know if its the lowered calories, vitamin A or C but it gave me glowing skin.
      I have a sedentary job and work out a little every day. This advice would not work for those people who spend their day cycling 100 miles and digital nomading. In that case you must live on datoraide, 30bad, rice and 2 lbs of pasta a day.

    • @slXD100
      @slXD100 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting diet and viewpoint! Nothing out of the ordinary aside from the mineral mixes you've mentioned, never really knew that it is a thing and so "common" amongst a some people who are into health. Hmm, I would agree with you on the refined carbs statement, but my way of seeing it is slightly different. I give the edge to refined fats, refined carbs are second place on my list, but if you combine both, that's deadly right there and I think the average American population can confirm my way of thinking, because that is what they're best at (cuisine-wise). I'm sure there are many studies and whatnot to support either side, but I guess we all can agree that anything refined, be it carbs or fat, is not really ideal for our bodies. I'm a vegan since around 5 years and my current diet is based on whole plant foods (a lot of it is raw, I eat light veggies like cucumbers etc raw, has really great effects on my well-being and skin, etc.) I also eat mushrooms raw often! Champignons is their name in europe (translation is simply mushrooms in english, which is odd). And I love it! I eat 1-2 cooked meals a day but I don't really keep track.. I just eat whatever I am up to and I make sure it is nothing harmful and that I have a nutrient dense-day overall. Before I went vegan I've had a pretty good diet (with meat, no dairy). And I felt quite good, but now I'm at my best ever and it is progressing! I've been curious to try out a few minerals and all that but.. I don't feel the need to. I find it rather unnecessary DISCLAIMED (IF we can get all our minerals through a balanced diet). If we don't, then I am all for it of course! I know it is sometimes hard to get most minerals even in a diet where you eat a lot of veggies, since we humans domesticated a lot of veggies and fruits to fit our taste-budds and whatnot. So the density of minerals and vitamins surely isn't as high as of the former ancestors. There is a vegan who has a keto diet, Cory McCarthy if I do not mistaken, watched few meal videos of him. He has great succes but I haven't seen a vid of him in years, not really into youtubers that much. Well, I am not sure what you're trying to say with that vegan thing about VP, but I think I'd disagree at this point. Personally I find meat-eating a disadvantage and unhealthy long term for our bodies if anything. From what I know scientifically, I cannot say it is beneficial at this point as well, and my experience with other people around me and especially my brother confirms it, but that doesn't say much to most people, I know. There are cases where some people depend on animal protein, because their body has issues with plant-protein, I am aware of that but these are rare cases. There are also a lot of vegans/vegetarians with health issues and all that bad stuff, but when it comes to diet, imo 99% of people do it wrong so a discussion in comparing things is not in my interest :) Well, your last comment for me is one I sadly disagree with as well! While it is true that we cause damage anyway, no matter if we are vegan or not (in the western world) the goal of veganism, or any other ethical standpoint is to exclude as far as possible and practicable all forms of damage in any shape or form. So such way of seeing it leaves me cold, because that sentence can mean a lot for anyone in any measurements. I hope you do not see this as an attack on you or the way you see it, just my response to what you're saying! Anyhow, thanks for your friendly comment and especially the breakdown on your diet. I wish you only well-being and health with it, and hopefully it all works out in the end! As for our VP friend here, I think he does a lot of things wrong, which is easy to do when you have that many physical issues! Cheers

    if you sprout your beans 1st, they cook easy . thus eliminating the need for pressure cooker
    just put your beans in water for 24 hrs then keep wet in an old jar for a few days.
    they taste better and easy to digest, no gas

    Get cream of tartar used in baking, it's a byproduct of wine making and is mainly potassium. As far as salt goes, try and get pink Himalayan salt because it has more natural minerals in it.

      Veggie Bee i just started last week. I made a video for one meal so far. Go check it out! I use MyFitnessPal to track everything, everything has carbs in it it's crazy! My understanding is you got to keep it under 50 carbs, and 25 net carbs per day. Take your total carbs minus the fiber to get your net carbs.

    Fun video. I must say that your energy though, is noticeably lower because you just ate a large meal. I"m not convinced that eating one large meal a day is the best idea. I get your thinking and have tried similar myself. I'm now back to eating fruit only during the day (with greens in a smoothie) - but not a lot of it - got the right balance now, whereas before I was eating too much fruit and losing energy, rather than the fruit giving me energy. My main meal is always eaten late afternoon before it gets dark and consists mostly of a salad with something cooked with it; like sweet potato or potato or a veggie soup. My digestion is the best it's ever been. No, I don't poo out the main meal the next morning - so digestion is slower than yours , BUT I don't get tired in the middle of the day because my body is digesting a big meal. I'd rather feel a bit tired in the evening as I'll be sleeping anyway. :) Love your videos Kasey.

    I think you're about to leave Thailand. But I moved to Jordan and looked in so many malls for things I wanted. Turned out they sold most of the stuff in the traditional spice shops for next to nothing. Like wormwood. They drink it here all the time and I never knew. Rock salt. I can pay like 12USD in the mall for Himalayan salt. Or I can go to the spice shop and get unrefined rock salt .25 cents a whole kilo. The spice shops used to be the old pharmacies here. And I can only guess it would be the same in Thailand.

    It's the oil trust me. And I think eating a lot in general may cause it even though it's once a day which is not really over eating.

    Wow the mall surprised me. And as you know you are the funniest guy on youtube. Wouldn't a normal grocery store have cream of tartar in the spice isle?

    Hey Veg,
    You don't need extra potassium salt. You'll get plenty in veggies. In fact too much potassium can be dangerous

    I would try the pharmacy or a health food store. In Europe the pharmacy is where you get cream of tartar, maybe same same in Thailand?

    Doesn’t matter what the number used to be as long as it’s a baseline and stays consistent

      It's the camera. If I wanted to show you ever flaw in my face, I could easily do that with my main camera. It's less about vanity and more about health, and the actual physical pain and itchiness of having acne that I want to get rid of.

    Strange to see Tesco in Thailand. I worked for them in the UK when I left school, many moons ago.

      They opened here about maybe 17 years ago in partnership with Thailand's CP group, then later they bought CP out! Still a mean, crap firm just as in the UK!

    When you say potassium salt, are you talking about something like "No Salt" just curious as I'm a little confused on what to look for.

    • @vegetablepolice

      Yes, potassium chloride or cream of tartar.
