13:54 whenever your screen gets all janky and you teleport, it's caused by a thunder talent called "Static Fakeout" which functions by parrying and then roll cancelling right after. Doing both of those things correctly will result in the user teleporting behind the enemy, which is what you were doing on accident.
I love how he either didn't read the card functions, or just forgot what the card did all together so he just gets jumpscared by random passives every often than not 😭
Glad to see you progressing more and more, also if you want to wish you never even tried to do layer 2, there's an optional path that makes you fight 2 bone guardians for a chest.

Eclipse, here is a pro tip applicable to medium weapons: If you are not using a shield, you can press y to enter a 2-handing stance, making you deal more posture damage (aka: mobs get stunned quicker) It also makes you swing a tiny bit faster
yo man would just like to let you know that PVE damage actually scales with your level so the higher lvl you are the more damage you will do, also on your first attempt the boss was buffed to be a galeforce bonekeeper (you can see the effect and the kill cam of it) so dont be so hard on yourself

This game is perfect for your content, the different bugs and other stuff that you can help with or your reactions to different fights and etc. Deepwoken is the game for you and I will always support you playing this!!!!!!!!
small tip, press Y to dual/single hand your weapon (this does not work on light weapons, in order to do this on heavy you need a talent), dual handing your weapon deals more posture damage overall, so it's basically useless to singlehand unless you're using a sidearm

prolly other people who said this but when holding out your weapon click "y" on your keyboard to change your stance. currently youre using 1 handed stance but most people would recommend 2 handed which u can get by clicking "y". also the weird teleporting thing that happened is because you have a thunder talent which makes it so that if you parry and roll cancel straight after, youll teleport behind your opponent. almost forgot but when he jumps youre supposed to move where he jumped from to avoid taking damage.

On many attacks that ragdoll, you can get up instantly if you use your right click m2. This won’t work for some attacks like the sharko kick 3. You should try to get the chain of perfection talent by killing a boss without getting hit SOLO. The talent multiplies your damage each hit you do up to 60% or 100% idk, but those multipliers go away if you get hit. This will help a lot with layer 2

To reset your lighthook you only need to wait 10 minutes(1 minute irl equals to one minute there), when you die and go back to layer 2 you'll have 10 minutes(you can also check the duration of your lightook by covering over it)
@@killuad0it depends on how long you were in to determine the time you wait, if you spent 15 minutes in layer 2 and light hooked out or died it takes 15 minutes (no idea why they coded it that way)
The reason why you could not dodge a lot of the moves is because there are a lot of layer 2 mobs that have dodge bypass attacks like the bone keeper or ethiron down slam there is a dodge bypass indicator with the stage 3 lft crit being the violin sound but with a blue indicator instead of red. I believe that they should add a different sound or higher pitch sound and have the same blue effect for more dodge bypass moves for mobs
In the bonekeeper just dodge the running attack and when he does that claw thing then jumps just walk forward because if you walk back you will take damage
If you want to kill npc fast then you should use more of your moves because mantras deal more dmg to npc than m1s. Also you can ragdoll cancel by spamming m2

if you do 6 or 8 dukes you could get your bell and get to max lvl and you can get your bell in layer 2 to help you it gives you full hp and new abilly that is C i think
eclipse, the bonekeeper has 2 moves you cant block parry or dodge. the bone stomp you found out easily, which you had to jump over. after the bonekeepers basic attack when he leaps, you must jump over the landing or you get out of the way of the leap.
Now try and win a chimes of conflict match (first to get it, you have to go all the way up on the right of songseeker wilds, head to like the dojo thing with the flamecharm trainer but instead head to the right of the building and talk to the dude who is wobbling P.S. he has voice acting so you’ll know when you find him, then use the little backpack item he gives you)
you should try lore game , it just got a ton of bug fixes and now it's actually playable as a new player . it's a single developer medieval-ish rpg-ish game where you don't lose anything when you die cause that mechanic sucks . if you can put the effort into exploring it's a really cool game .
Only problem with lore game is that the content is heavily spread out and often hard to find (take layer 5 for an example) I think eclipse would love the cool boss in lore game but its so hard to find without a guide and I don't think that is the kind of experience Eclipse is looking for.
Btw you can’t dodge the bones from the ground, you have to jump. The only reason you dodged the bones sometimes is bc your character was just outside the hit box. Hope this helps
If it helps, I had to fight a corrupted bonekeeper as a power 6 for my trial because of Vow of Thorns. I fought him for like 40 minutes before getting oneshot because of a screen freeze.

Yeah the charge parry timing is weirdly delayed leading to people getting block broken over and over. I recommend dodging and rolling forward INTO the attack because it kind of counteracts the delay. Also if you’re walking with your back faced to bonekeeper and he hits you with the charge u get ragdolled
Play attack on titan freedom war, It's an extremely fun campaign perma death game based off of the main story of attack on titan, except some player choices change up the timeline, The combat between odm gear is good, titan shifting is awesome and the ways you can in general play the game makes it a zillion times more fun. Also killing titans feels actually fucking rewarding
To explain a couple of things You can’t dodge the attack where he stomps the ground and creates a wave of bones You can’t dodge the bone javelin You can’t dodge the jump slam after he does his hand barrage attack You can’t parry his grab attack You can’t parry his jump slam attack either

@@LeoB100no it also procs suffocate which slows you, dazes you if you attempt to jump or roll while suffocated and disables all mantras

layer 2, while not very risky was a really good way of implementing training as you can (technically) repeat it as much as you want without any risk

I mean you gotta understand , layer 2 came out a year after release, so it was kinda tailored for players slightly more well versed with the combat

You have to wait however long your lighthook has diminished + 10 min. So if you lost 10 minutes of lighthook, it'll take 20 to recharge

Pressing Y will switch your weapon between one hand and two hand. Two-handed style deals more posture damage to the target.

A bit random but I’m not sure if eclipse is intentionally doing a semi-ichigo fit but it looks good 👍
