This week our tiny minds were totally blown by the incredible enigmatic Scottish highlands as we embarked on the legendary North Coast 500 road trip.
A drive that took us deep into some of the remote parts of the UK.
The weather may have been terrible but that didn't distract us from the majesty of the place.
We may have even left you a little something along the way?!

In the 6 years that I have been an avid watcher of TH-cam, I have never ever commented on a video. After watching this video today, how could I possibly not? I have been watching you guys since the very beginning, way before the video diaries started and Hannah was making make-up videos on this channel. I think I actually started watching from the 3rd video ever posted. Your creativity is incredible and the time and energy you put in to your videos is a sheer delight to watch. For half an hour every week you take all your viewers away to another place, and I can only thank you for finding the beauty in every day life. xx

30 minutes of beauty and pure craftsmanship. I look down my recommended and think "why isn't everybody making 'content' like this?" - that's because they can't. Every single shot is so thoughtful and sometimes I literally don't know how you've filmed it. The hours you must of spent is obvious. I'm not a very articulate person, there's so much I want to say but just don't know how to put into words just how much these short films really have an impact on me, particularly my mental health which of late has been particularly challenging. For many years I've been desperately looking for ways to cope with it, to no avail.. until now.
Stef and Hannah, I want to thank you both from the bottom of my heart for being my escape, for allowing me to no longer have to shove pills down my throat in order to feel semi 'normal', your hard work and dedication to this channel doesn't go unnoticed. All this work and input by two single people with the footage you guys come up with each week is just absolutely magical.. truly breathtaking beyond words.

Stumbling across Hannah's makeup videos 4 years ago was one of the best things i ever found. Seeing Gracie grow up as you capture all these beautiful moments and adventures is just so precious. Another incredible vlog, perfect balance of silky, funny and thoughtfulness. Also, my dad sat and watched this one on the tv with me, I think he's a fan now too. Lots of Love x
Ive always been a silent watcher. Never commenting, never liking, never interacting in any way. I guess i just like to peacefully watch your videos. But your craftsman ship is exquisite. Every video you post, i see beauty in every frame. The way you capture hannah, raw, the bare bones, takes my breath away. You see what everyone else fails to see and are able to capture it an a way that not many film makers can do. You show the soul and the essence of your subjects and this video was no exception. Never do i watch videos on youtube and marvel at their beauty but with yours, i sit and i stop and get caught up in your moments that you present to us to so brilliantly.
Never stop filming. Never stop creating. Never stop doing what you love for if you do this space would lose a burning torch of hope. Your videos are a true work of art and i will watch and love until the very end.

Just wanted to say... im going through such a hard time at the moment with health issues. Have for a while but now I'm losing interest in everything as well but I still find myself watching your vlogs every Sunday and for that half an hour I spend watching your vlogs I forget everything else and just enjoy watching what you guys get up to. Been following you for about 2 years now and I'm sure I speak for many others when I say thank you for making these videos. You have no idea just how many people you could be helping. ❤️

I'm Scottish and I feel embarrassed that I've never truly appreciated how beautiful this little country is until I watched this video. You have genuinely brought me to tears and I've been that inspired that I've started making a road trip plan for this summer to visit more places in Scotland. Best video yet by far!

This planet needs more families like you. I think on TH-cam so many people watch and think "I wish I could own that bag" or "I wish I could go on that holiday." You three inspire people to really look at the amazing world around us and who we are in it.

Absolutely insane. I'm studying in New Zealand for 4 months at the moment and missing home in Inverness but seeing this has given a wee boost. You literally couldn't have captured home in more of a magnificent way, especially with the typical Scottish rain. I think VisitScotland should be giving you a call! Incredible.

I don't even bother listening to news & should I hear an ounce on the radio- only way I would as I don't watch mainstream TV anymore/read the news, I immediately turn it to a different channel or off- radio channels seem to like doing their news bulletins all at the same time!
Mamma e Bella lm the same I've stopped watching read the news l know we should know what going on but really l can't anymore it's too much it's was draining me and l,was always in a bad mood and drained defo there so much evil and darkness in the world where we really need more love and light and these videos are a little bit of ray of sunshine in a gray world xxx
I also barely watch any TV, especially news. But my job requires me to be up to date with pretty much anything that is happening around the world in almost all areas and every day I get more and more disgusted with what people are doing to each other and to the world. :( And the idea of moving to an unpopulated island seems more and more appealing to me.
Monika Bachvarova YES! With you there on wanting to move to a remote island... Somewhere in Thailand or Hawaii sounds most appealing at the moment or maybe Oz/NZ! What do you do to make you have to suffer watching the disgusting nastiness of the world!? Sounds like you need a better job :-/ x
Yes, I've been thinking about Thailand recently because I have a lot of friends who have been there on vacation and they said it was really beautiful! As for the job, it's not that bad in general as we write analyses for companies such as Tesla and I learn so much cool and innovative information. But we also used to work with some missile manufacturers, for example, which was a nightmare! I don't care about weapons production and sale at all!

I'm not one to comment on videos but I couldn't watch this without telling you how incredibly talented you are Stefan. I'm Scottish and you captured my country better than anything I've ever seen. The tone you set throughout the video was beautiful and tranquil and words cannot do you justice. I watch your family religiously and each week it gets better and each week I respect you more and more as a person and agree with your values and beliefs. I think the way you capture your wife and son on camera is beautiful and this video is so emotionally driven and it shows and please, never for a second, doubt yourself and your immense talent.

The camera only cements the work, the art that the Michalak's portray! There were moments in this video where I actually cried because it was so beautifully illustrated. I look forward to these every week.We've spent the last 6 weeks in Scotland (mostly Callander but got to Inverness for a birthday weekend) and LOVED it. So wonderful. Also very true about the dress code. We're from Montana and everyone seemed pretty done up for a hike in the woods through some hills. If you are really getting back in there, it would probably be wise though. Loved the bleakness of the highlands. That's just something that appeals to me. 'nother great one. Also, nice map. very cool.

Absolutely loved it! I felt like I was watching a movie the entire time. The scenery was beautifully captured, the music complimented the scenes wonderfully, and I LOVE how much focus is put on Hannah and Grayson. It feels like you're showing off them as being the light of your life. Its incredibly romantic and heartwarming. Keep doing you and never let anyone change your perspective on the things you love

I am what you can call "a silent watcher" but this...this short film is breathtaking! Steph I agree with you...Cameras, drones, phones are just tools that can capture beautiful images but alone they can't do much... I think that the most difficult thing is to capture MOMENTS, and I'm speaking about feelings, energies and silent things that you can't see but you can only feel in an instant. In order to do that you need a big open hearth, you have to see the WORLD IN ITS THE BEAUTY and that is not a simple thing because that means that you truly feel it, with its good and its bad. It's very difficult to find someone who is capable to let the world speaks through "cold technology" but that is what you always do... I'm always amazed with your ability to show things as you see them, raw, in their truth... But this time... This time you outdo yourself...So, THANK YOU... Today, with you and your beautiful family, I was able to feel the energy that you felt, to see the beauty that you saw ,even here, so far away from there... I wish you, Hannah, little Grayson and Tiny Little Human peace and happiness and, more importantly, I wish you to never stop feeling the beauty of this world.
