After a week of manic unpacking that feels like it never ends we're just about settled into our new home in Bath.
We're all really 'juiced up' (is that what the kidz (sic) say?) about exploring the south west of the UK and finding some new material to shoot.
Anyway, kick back and enjoy the show.

I can't believe how many people are whining about the size/price of the house in the comments. I could name several hundred other TH-camrs that make a lot more money from TH-cam and produce much lower quality content. Stef and Hannah pour themselves into these vlogs and their careers. If you're really bothered by their financial well-being, nobody is forcing you to watch. A hardworking family deserves a home that meets their needs, and I am so happy for them!
Jillian I totally agree! plus, both have another business that they work a lot for, so it's not like they are just well off because they upload random footage once a week.
I doubt you could name several hundred! A bit of an exaggeration I suspect!
I know. I would also imagine they are paying close to what they paid in London which is just nuts. They both work from home and have do other things like wantfeed/maggslondon so they can't just have an office in the corner like most people.
I dont think these people realise HOW expensive London is to live in! You can get so many amazing properties just a tiny bit out side of London for way less!
Jillian there are far more expensive places than London to live in. Try Sydney where the average price is over a million.
I think that people who are saying "they've changed/they're selfish" don't realize that you can get wayyyyy more space in bath for your money than you can in london PLUS they've probably been saving a while. Congrats y'all - the house is absolutely beautiful!
And...? It's not like they're 20 years old recklessly buying a house like that when they don't have the money or need the space. Working from home, you need space to pursue and run your business (TH-cam, LondonMaggs, WantFeed, social media, etc). PLUS they're growing their family and might continue growing it in the future. They're obviously very blessed to live in such a gorgeous space but they work extremely hard (and have for a long time) and have decided that this is what's best for their family and business. I just think we should be for them :)

Congrats for finding this beautiful house!! It looks amazing! And i am honestly so impressed by how much you unpacked and made the house feel homely in such a short time!
My husband just watched this video with me...he has only watched a few times. During the video he commented, "you know, their videos just make me realize that everything is going to be ok." He is right. You guys see the beauty in the smallest things and it's lovely to watch a young family that is so laid back and invested in their children. Just thought I would share. :) Loved the home. Love your family.

P.s. I'm so upset with all the people complaining about how "unrelatable" you've become now that you moved. Just makes me sick, how people, knowing nothing about your life other than what you decide to show them, think that working hard, for YEARS, building everything from nothing - is 'unrelatable'. Yeah, probably because they never put any effort into anything. Some sad, envious people. Don't be discouraged, Michalaks, you deserve what you have!!
They said they rented this house thanks to a sponsor... They dont even own it. That's my point, people know nothing about the situation (how much it is, how are paying for it etc), and they make these comments.
He moans about house prices because its sad that most people will never be able to afford to buy one, but luckily he was able to rent the house he wanted.
Lola Rose He complains about house prices in London which are beyond ridiculuosly expensive. The rent for this house in Bath is probably around the same as for their flat in London.

Kirsty Absurd sure, that's probably why they moved. i honestly don't care where they live and how much they pay for it. i was just trying to explain to the person above why Steph complains about house prices and they still can afford such a "big" house but i understand that my comment could be misinterpreted the other way round ☺

They can afford to rent this house but can't afford to buy it yet - if you can't encourage them just be quiet. @TheMichalaks are great and produce high quality family lifetstyle vlogs and people should focus on that and not on their personal circumstances, finances or choices.

Aura Dyer I just read the comments to see whether somebody already has written what I'm thinking and - found it here! Envious comments seem to be a TH-cam sport, they are to be found everywhere. I'm sure that this family would have gone the same way out of the city into a house with other jobs than TH-cam. They try to achieve their aims and invite us to watch. Who can't stand to see the luck of someone else should probably watch those disgusting 'funny homevideos'.

I'm not one to comment, but I can't quite understand the attitude some people are displaying . I moved out of London 4 years ago and it was one of the best things I could have done for myself economically and for a better quality of life. Not everyone can afford it and admitting to it, shows they are humble. They both strike me as being very hardworking . I personally love their channel! The quality of their videos, the honesty, how natural they are and how relatable. I do truly hope you are all happier in Bath! Keep doing what you are doing and thank you for sharing it with us! ♥️ people must relearn to be kind and feel happy for others!

You don't need to save money in order to move out of London, it should be the opposite! If you can afford to live in London then you can afford to live almost anywhere else

they're renting
You don't have to buy a house right away. Assuming you're currently renting in London, if you move into a rented place in Bath it would save so much money on it's own that in 6-12 months you might have enough for a deposit. It's actually better in a way to start out renting when moving to a new city because you can get to know the good areas and the ones that work best for your lifestyle before committing to buy a house.
I know, but my point is that it's still cheaper than London. If you can afford to live in London, then you can afford to live in Bath.
WOW. That house is absolutely STUNNING! I'm glad you guys found it. So much more room for a growing family. I'm sure I sound quite ignorant lol but when I've looked into moving out that way before I found that the homes are usually quite a bit smaller than the ones in America... that house just completely exceeded any expectations I had and absolutely towers over any real home here that I've been in!!!! Beautiful.

What Greyson's room needs is some paint... nothing nuts, but maybe like a navy blue border/stripe around the top of the walls? Or a few chevron-style stripes around the top in blue and grey or something like that. I think it would make a huge difference and wouldn't take long to do. You can even get the stick on ones if you just want to get it done with fast. Speaking of which, if you're not into that, maybe you could do some sort of silouette-pictures in decals on one wall like animals but all solid color silhouettes or cars or whatever he's into. I like the first idea better esthetically, but both are practical in that he can "grow up with" the first one, and the second one can be easily peeled off and changed as he ages and gets different interests.

A few things i loved about this video:
1. Your furnishing!!!! Your livingroom with the mirror and the rug with those crates and fairy lights!!! TO. DIE. FOR.
2. The colour scheme. I loved the continous use of beige during the whole video!
3. Grayson kicking Steph's head. I had to pause the video for 2 minutes because I couldn't stop laughing! It was so funny (sry).

I agree with you. Plus getting guest bags/suitcases up those narrow attic stairs would be a pain you'd have to repaint the walls every few months
Plus, the spare bedroom has a little space for washing, it would not be logical to inverse.
I was so emotional watching this entire video. They deserve this house and this new amazing chapter in their lives so much, they are so hard working every time I watch one of their videos I feel as if I am in a cinema. I really don't think people understand how expensive London actually is! For example: This is the nicest place i could see to buy for £600,000 in Clapham, London - Assuming they lived near there cause of Clapham Common. It is a 2 bed flat and is 843 sq ft inside. Now if you took that £600,000 and type in bath, here is a house that has 4 bedrooms for £5000 less and is 1469 sq ft almost double the size. www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-46790214.html
Also knowing the area the schools aren't great unless you're looking into private education in which you have the house/ rent prices and then school costs.
It really disgusts me how people are putting this move down, it's an incredible thing, you work harder than most people do on this platform and I really enjoyed this vlog so thank you! I wish you the best luck and happiness in your new home!

"This is all going to sound a bit fisher-price memoir but I'm just going to get something off my chest then get on with my day of editing and trips to the biscuit tin.
I want to quickly talk about the time when I lived in a different world the world I'm in now.
When I was 11 years old I had a wonderful set of curtains hung down to my eyebrows, I loved watching games master, playing streets of rage, getting lost on my bike and daydreaming about Rachel Hill who first taught me about the friend zone.
Each morning before school I would get up at 5:30am to do a paper-round, the £16 a week I made I'd put towards things I needed like shoes or a rucksack for school.
Then at the weekends I’d carry around a bucket and sponge and knock on people's door asking if I could clean their car for them. I was terrible at it, the cars somehow looked worse after I finished.
I did all of that because my mum only had around £20 a week to spend on food and clothes for my sister and I.
Sometimes for whatever reason, we wouldn’t have that £20 and we’d have food delivered to our house from charities.
I remember my mum constantly in tears because each day she would have to see her kids go without, miss out on school trips, be hungry and not be able to feed us. As a parent, I can’t even begin to imagine how hard that must have been for her.
Anyway, I'm getting to my point, hold tight.
For around two years while the council was trying to find a home for us, my mum sister and I lived in a yellow mobile home that looked like a fallen over wheely bin, my bed was a corridor that would only fit a single bed, my sister would have to climb over it to get to her room.
Eventually, it burnt down and we moved to Ireland to stay with my mums family for a while.
I always knew what poor felt like. Obviously, it's all relative but none the less we were always the poor kids at school.
I don't like talking about it much because I find it quite grotesque, plus I'm sure Alan Suger does it a lot and he's a bit of a knob.
25 years later I worked up from the bottom and managed to construct a life in a completely different world, all of which has come from a shit tonne of hard work and nothing more.
So when people write bitter comments about Hannah and I moving to a bigger family house in Bath it makes me want to speak out and let them know something.
Sometimes in life you get a shit hand, the trick is to make that hand work for you despite how terrible it may look at first, everything negative you perceive has a certain potency to it and it comes with a choice, do you let that potency consume you, or do you find a way to use it to your advantage.
Just like being poor taught me, If I want something I just had to work as hard as I could for it and now, finally after 25 years its beginning to pay off.
So just as you feel the need to write shitty things about us moving, why not try to use the potency of that hostility into something more productive. Learn how to do that and you can do anything.
Ok I'm done, I feel much better now.

Yeah, It's interesting how things like this float around the world. I have definitely never seen it in Australia though. If we did have those sorts of thing in the 60's I reckon it'd be an old corrugated iron tank cut in half, sitting on the back veranda! haha

I rarely watch TH-cam these days but when I eventually come back on, your channel is pretty much the only one that gets me hooked straight back in. I always enjoy a good binge watch of your vids for a few hours. It's lovely seeing your little family grow and change (I remember watching your videos from before Grayson was born!) And they have certainly improved over the years, they are a real beauty to watch and the time and effort that must go into them is clear to see. Shake it off! Thank you for keeping it real. Some big you-tubers say they are sorry when they buy a new car and live in a very modest home just to please their audience. I feel offended when they try to justify how they spend their hard earned money. There are always some jealous audience but most of us want to see you succeed.

Never usually comment on any video but after seeing some of the negativity you have received this week, I had to! A massive congratulations on your new home, I've watched you for so long and you are so deserving of your new life in Bath. Everything you have is what you have worked for and I can only dream that through the same determination I can also get to where I want to be in life. Please keep doing what you are doing, as a lot of other people say, sitting down and spending a portion of my Sunday watching your videos is part of a little ritual that I enjoy very much.
