My Mausa ji recently visited India from Australia after 2..3 years and I took him to Chayoos. He was amazed too see such a great vibe and structure of the brand. Making chai just like another coffee brand.

Not really. Samsung, LG and Hyundai are South Korean companies. Sony, Honda and Toyota are Japanese companies. Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porche are German. Ferrari is Italian. Most of the luxury clothing brands are from France and Italy. These brands are not from English speaking countries.

IT services companies like TCS ka naam UK mein jaa ke toh dekho almost harr kone mein likha hai.
Just owning Jaguar and Land Rover won't make it as an Indian brand. Zoho, Freahdesk and TCS could be but does anyone apart from IT field know this? I don't think so. (I am sure here in Canada nobody does) Even Haldiram won't considered because no one apart from Indian community knows these Indian snacks brand. (Moreover you will find these brands in Walmart, Real Canadian Superstore etc but only if there is nearby Indian community) Canadian's don't prefer Spicy snacks and most of the Indian snacks are spicy.
The British also have a stake in Tata.

They are not global brands... They are Indian buisnesses. The point is not just about big buisnesses but brands which are recognised globally.
Sure Tata ownes few brands which are multinational but 90% of the people in Europe, North and South America, Africa, east asia have not even heard of Tata but everyone knows what McDonald's is.

Two of the recognised Indian 2 wheel brands outside India are TVS and Bajaj in central Africa. Mostly everyone knows knows TVS and Bajaj who is considering to buy a 2 wheeler... Just like Suzuki and Yamaha in India, doesn't matter you buy them or not, you've heard of them.
Just like a kid in small Indian/African village... Even if he has never eaten a burger from McD, even 10 village surrounding his don't have a McD outlet but the kid has heard of McD.

See. I guess in automobiles we have dominated African and South American markets . Companies like Mahindra and Bajaj have a huge share in there. I guess things will change slowly and steadily!
