Super helpful! I tried to do no spend November, but I only made it to the 20th. I think picking a week every month would be so much easier. I’m going to try it! Thanks!
Yeah, I think that it can be hard when people treat it too much like a fad diet. It's best to start out in small, manageable doses. Let me know if it helps!!
I have been doing bare bones and it is truly amazing. I love the correlation to Marie Kondo too as I started applying her concepts in 2020 and also a blessing. I have found that "minimizing" all aspects of my life has had maximal benefits including with money most recently. Great video!
This is super helpful to think about and I am definitely in a bare bones stage right now after hitting a financial rock bottom recently. Thank you so much!
Intentional spending really resonated with me. I've noticed I've been much less intentional about my spending in recent months. Bringing clarity, focus and intention back into my spending practices and relationship with money will definitely serve me better. Thanks.
It is SO easy to spend money on things that only bring short-term happiness -- I know I've been there 😅 Best of luck as you work to spend more intentionally!!
Great video, love the minimalist concept, to live with intentionality. The piece that resonated for me is to simply live within your means. In this world of credit, that can be a challenge.
Too true!! It's way too easy to hand over a card without thinking about how much we're actually spending. Glad this resonated with you, and hope it helps you make positive financial changes ❤️
Under the circumstances, I am doing precisely those exercises this month :p. I always try not to spend more than I make, but I paid for smth twice, and I now have only money left for things I need. This is a great exercise to get into the minimalist mindset. It also allows me to pay off a chunk of my credit card the following month, and I also want to start investing small amounts at the time. :) Super good reminder and a helpful video! Thanks
Another amazing video thank you so much Britt! I really took away number 4 > tackle one thing at a time. Balance is huge for me and is crazy how sneaky my multitasking tendencies can be . So tha k youso much I feel a lot better now! ❤❤😂
I work so much ai tend to eat out and do take out about 3-6 times a week. I want to change that habit and food prep on Sundays. I also want to invest more for my retirement.
Tackle One Money Goal at a Time would likely help the most helpful at this point in time, but...I've a lot of ongoing online entrepreneurial courses that I don't wish to abandon. My goal for 2022 is to complete all 4, take on no more, schedule each into my appointment book and check off as I complete that days training. So far, so good - although I still feel a bit overwhelmed at times
Oh yes! Grew up in the sticks, helped raise a vegetable garden, chickens, and cows with a few horses(with my Paps! Now so much does not taste as good as it should be, and I could do without the hooved animals and the land they would need) Now I want to get back to that
Hi there! I'm confused by the steps: 1) paying off high interest debt 2) emergency fund 3) retirement 4) investing. Wouldn't we want to have an emergency fund and set budget for retirement goals first then pay off high interest debt before investing?
I feel ya, girl!! We actually *just* posted a video on how to curb impulse purchases. Here's the link if you want to check it out: th-cam.com/video/riWFj31PTGs/w-d-xo.html. I hope it helps!!
I’m really intrigued by the bare bones idea! I don’t think I’ve ever lived within my means, and this would be a good wake up call- curious how that applies to “borrowing” my sister’s streaming subscriptions, since I technically don’t pay for it…?
If you're not the one paying for it, then it's fine to keep using it; it isn't affecting your spending or savings at all :) I hope that going bare bones helps!! Let me know how it works for you!
Thanks for watching!! Which habit do you think will help you the most?
@Mrs Ceria Fernandez That's awesome!! 👏👏👏
Spending with intentions!
Going "bare bones" for a month or so to better understand how to best live within ones means sounds fun and doable.
Thanks for the tips. I really enjoyed writing down the reasons I want to build wealth, it’s helping build clarity.
Really enjoyed this video! So much to learn!

I've been trying to be minimal, and don't spend on things like clothes or trinkets mostly. But my book habit...
I do focus on quality over quantity and how the environment is affected. Need much work on impulse purchases.
