  • Does County Louth have the worst accent in Ireland? I take to the streets of County Louth in Ireland to ask the people of Louth themselves!
Louth has been labelled as having the worst accent in Ireland, And as part of my series '32 Counties, 32 Questions' I went to County Louth in Ireland to find out why.
County Louth is the smallest County in all of Ireland, but does it have biggest personality in Ireland? Although the caption of this video is "Does County Louth have the worst accent in all of Ireland" this video is more about the personality of County Louth in Ireland.

Once again Jamie, you have used your wonderful gift of being able to bring out the best in people. I didn’t think the accent was difficult to understand at all. And the friendly nature and strong sense of community of the locals was such a positive consensus among them that restored my faith in people. Great job as usual my friend.

Was in Dundalk around 40 years ago for a football match between Dundalk and Celtic. Unfortunately prior to us visiting I think another "team" Linfield? Wrecked the place, many of the pubs either let you in, then closed the doors, or closed the doors. We made the mistake of wanting to see what the other pubs were like. Couldn't get in! Asked a bus Driver to drop us at the nearest good pub. Ended up in Blackrock in The Brake Bar. Had a Fantastic time Drinking pint for pint with the Owner. We visited him every time we were over in Co Donegal ( Glengad) and also stopped off each time in Dundalk as we knew we didn't get a chance the first time. Fantastic people. Love the place. If you've not been, what's keeping you?
