@Jewish Person Negev is the desert region in Israel, not a river. 🙄 (only praying part that includes a river is 'tashlich' ceremony and it doesn't have to be a specific body of water).
Look at the "dried up river bed" this is not a biblical event but what happens after a rain storm up hill. Notice the pretty clouds?
BUT also note the flow pattern of the river bed. This happened not to long before this time as the sand still has the smooth and wet look to it. If it had been dry for more than a year it would not be smooth but would show wind scouring on it.

Perhaps it is a rare occurrence, that is why the people gathered to see it. It is obvious that it was more than they were expecting, they were ALL running for safety. That tells me that it was not a regular occurrence.

this is not in Jerusalem, this is a wadi in the Negev desert which refills EVERY YEAR after the autumn and spring rains

Look at the rivers dry bed before the water reaches it. You can see where water has been more recently. If you are familiar with waterways or beaches after a wave, the path the water covered leaves a cleaner smoother look.
This happens every year, it's the rainy season, these people were there to see it. Nothing new!

I managed a ranch in the SW Texas desert, and have seen the same thing when when a big rain happened up stream. The stream bed in the video was dry before the water came down it, but did not look as though it had been dry for 2,000 years.
The river banks are well preserved if it's been dry for that long.

That sudden drop downstream from the cameramen was once a waterfall. This is an ancient river. If you were to build a series of rock dams or leaky weirs upstream that whole area will turn green once again.

It looks to me that this is the result of rainfall up river in the hills...we get this in the deserts of the American Southwest each spring after a lot of rain falls in a short period of time. Regardless of where it is, it does demonstrate the Father's love for the flora and fauna that need this water ☺ God bless you all with abundance!
After 2000 years wouldn't this Drainage ditch be covered by dust and wind? I can clearly see sand gravel sediment before the water arrives at the begining of this video, its as if the people are anticipating this event.

Its just a typical Flash-Flood. as kids we were taught not to play in the creek bed at the bottom of Mount Remarkable (Flinders Ranges) in case exactly this happened. If a heavy rain hits the mountain after a dry spell, the water rushes into the creek bed which suddenly fills up causing this to happen. pretty cool to watch but not exactly strange. I feel sorry for people who have lived such sheltered lives that they have never seen such things!
I live in an area prone to flash floods. One night many years ago while driving to work the water level rose so fast that it almost took my car with it. Luckily I was able to make a quick right turn and then was able to head to higher ground. In that particular area of town where I was driving the water level went up to 9 feet in a very short period of time. Of course that frequently happens when you live in a narrow valley.

It's river zin in Judea desert, it's dry in the summer and with the first rain it fills in a flood of water like this. It happens every year, you see the people there knew it's coming. The greatest miracles are done by God in the nature ways just open your eyes and see them!

Interesting- people were there at the exact time the water flowed. Were they sent invitations or was this timed to happen that day? The riverbed showed signs of recent activity- the scattered rocks, the damp floor. If it were 2000 years I would have expected to see the wash was missing, covered with plant life.

This is a simple wadi close to Jericho...about 30 mins from Jerusalem and 20 mins from my own home that dries out most of the year and has some floods when it rains in the mountains and Jerusalem Areas coz its almost 900 meters above sea level... we go there almost every year to watch it..fauls title!!!
