Nurse's are not quitting their careers for the most part. We love what we do. There are so many facets of nursing. You don't have to work in the hospital. You can work for insurance companies or be a consultant for law firms. So ladies don't be discouraged. I do usually tell men that I am a hospital clerk though.😏

Ugh. So what's up with the fact that most women act "masculine" that way for no other reason than unwarranted mistreatment and exploitation when we were innocent and minding our own business? It's not like women's behavior came out of nowhere. This vid is a setback for me, because my skin crawls thinking of the creeps I'd have to defer to in the name of femininity. Yuck. You need to be feminine but also have discernment. What does this mean? It means a lot of y'all think looking and acting the part is enough yet do not know how to read and vet men. Be feminine but be observant and analytical. Read the behavior, body language, and words of a man. Be calculating yet act like the damsel. It's the only way to protect yourself. Act highly feminine around high value men but feminine and cold around dusty men. Act like the high maintenance women who looks at the dusties below her like dirt. Look feminine but unapproachable and intimidating around dusty men. That way they can only appreciate your looks and presence from afar. However with high value men, that's a different story. Be as friendly and charming as you can. Let your yourself be more open but not revealing because you still need to maintain a mysterious persona.

As far as service jobs go, the CoronaVirus pandemic has really opened a lot of nurses' eyes a hell of a lot more when it comes to the current healthcare administration. Especially how far they will go to get their way.
There are doctors and nurses are being urged to not wear masks or reuse their one mask until soiled or torn when taking care of patients at this time (Because it looks bad, makes the hospital look incompetent or whatever). In many facilities, they're getting fired and are getting threatened to getting their licenses revoked if they don't comply to their hospital administration rules (and this is from articles like Medscape and other news meant to keep medical professionals informed). Some facilities have even resorted to allow masks to be made out of household items like socks (i wish I was kidding).
The truth is in emergency situations, the worker in service is most likely to be sacrified for the greater good of the people. I have never enlisted to be an emergency care personnel because I've seen it happen where the officials in charge could care less about the caregivers' life and wellbeing with my own eyes after being a nursing student during a hurricane. Those nurses and doctors had to wait days to leave their station before they can see their families again. Shera is right in that the service industry needs a huge makeover when it comes to patient care to not only be a benefit to the patient, but also the professionals that care for them.
There's already a nursing shortage, but the solution doesn't need to be to leave nursing all together. Nursing as a career have many avenues that doesn't involve bedside manner. I switched from bedside to working in medical auditing and i don't regret it. Just gotta do the research and make the switch.

Women study and work, what prevents men from studying and finding a good job? If a woman can make it, then why can't a man do it? Now men are looking for either wealthy women or if they hear that you have a low-paid job, then they just leave.
