Hello, love your tutorials! perfect pace for beginners like me :D I learn more doing this kind of exercises rather than with explanation of how every button works. I mean I took me 5 hours to this dress instead of 37 min but I have learned loads of things, one for example the damn difference between DART and BASE DART
great tutorial. Has anyone actually sewn the garment after creating it? Im hoping rules for pattern making is always considered, and every designer using CLO has pattern making knowledge to make beautifully finished garments!
Right!! This is just to show you how the mesh changes appear. The usual way when working with trims and small parts you would make them higher mesh count at final stages. I only change the mesh when I’m posed and ready to render.😍
@@TheFashionTech - are you available for additional questions? I am trying to create patterns the same way you did and its not working the same way for my free trial of CLO. I think I might need to turn off magnetize. I need a beginner, very beginner lesson for creating patterns. 😊 Thank you!!!
hello! thank you so much for these videos, they're so helpful. Im wondering, in this video you mentioned that you will be making future tutorial son how to make a pattern from a photo - did you make this already or is it in the pipeline? As a total beginner I think I would learn best from copying garments that are already made, to learn the ropes.
Love these tutorials, really helping me a lot. Thank you!!! Question: I do not see the tool you used to cut the pattern into halves to sho the grid. I just downloaded clo 5.2 so maybe thats why its different tool bar icons. They must still have this feature in the updated one? Do you know how to access it? Thanks!!!
Thank you for the amazing video! sorry if this is a very obvious question. are the triangle mesh and 4quad mesh only relate directly to the 3d rendering effect? I mean what if the fabric is actually very soft or the fabric is stiff, do I differentiate them for soft fabric with 4quad mesh and stiff fabric with triangle mesh? thank you!!
I really love that people take time to create such videos - but for my taste it's way to slow and a little bit all over the place - music is really sleepy :S
Very detailed, very helpful. Thanks !
Thanks really great work
Thank you so much! Please keep these coming. They are SO helpful. Many thanks!

It’s a platform that doesn’t restrict users to know so much pattern making but for those who do it is robust
Hi, could you please help me in how to add a buckle on the garment?
Thank you great video
Love your tutorials. Did you work with 4 separate parts to show the differences with the mesh? Normally, you wouldn't work that way, right? Thank you.

Also, I do not know how to added the print to the entire garment. When I placed it in the four pieces needed print added seperately.
You have to add it in the fabric editor. It has to be the fabric texture but I think you are adding it like a graphic
Half symmetry is the tool. Right click on the line to unfold it is in that menu
Thank you! :*
Thanks a lot for video. It was realy helpful. Could u type a song name from first part of video?

This is just for effect however if the look of the fabric is not what you want it is something to try.
Hey, thanks for the tutorials! really helpful :) Wondering how you 'pull the garment', I can't seem to find any info on this feature :)
In the 3D tool bar there is a cross hair icon. When you have a garment and your render icon is active you can see the cross hair turns to a hand
@@TheFashionTech thank you!
At 22.18 you change the view of the 2D, but I dont have those tools! How can I put them back? Thank you!!
It’s a little like a light switch click once fro one then click again for off. There’s not a A or B but only one switch
What version do you have
