    hmm this is interesting but also kinda confusing. It just looks like a roughness map with a directionality to it. But im sure its not quite that simple. Would love know more about this from your upcoming in depth tutorials

      Hey! So actually it is not that simple, I only broke this down into how it actually works in real time so it’s easier to understand for those who don’t know the background technicality of it!
      Of course we see it on action as a directional roughness map, but in depth its actually reading the whole 3D surface where the material is applied to. Making the reflections of our roughness follow the direction and surface of our 3D mesh.
      This is as far as I got into it as I didnt want to burn beginner’s!
