Mischa, all the best on this new channel for BC Helicopters. It will be great to be able to see Sancho, Sam, and the rest of the team! We’ll keep both channels of course! Happy and safe flying my friend!🚁🚁
I made it all the way over from the other channel, wow what a trip, a lot of distractions on the way but i made it!!!!! and also hit the BIG red button, and that thumb thingy
I'm gladly joining everyone overhere at the new BC Helicopters channel from the fantastic Pilot Yellow channel! Looking forward to seeing what is in store for us... Thanks Mischa and the entire team for keeping it real, you guys are awesome!
Hi all🚁. I just came over from the PILOT YELLOW channel to check out the expansion of the new channel to follow BC Helicopters in this broader way. Thanks for adding to the experience.
Hi everyone at BC Helicopters. I am looking forward to meeting other instructors and seeing more of what I will be embarking on when I come out for my instruction !
Jumping over here from the Pilot Yellow channel! I am in flight school currently down in Oregon, USA and working toward my commercial rating. These videos have been very helpful, informative, and so valuable to see different teaching styles. Thanks for sharing this content!
Quick question. In the center outside of the windshield there is an instrument resembling a piece of yarn. What is it called and function? My nephew asked me and I thought the best answer would be from you kind folks. Thanks!
@@johnfromboston774 That actually is a piece of yarn attached to the outside. It's the most reliable, low cost way to determine if the aircraft is in a side slip or not. In a helicopter, you can use the foot pedals (anti-torque pedals) to yaw the nose left or right. You want the fuselage aligned with the airflow to reduce drag. When the string is pointed straight up, you are not yawing left or right. Oddly enough, the F-14 Tomcat, and probably others, use this same high tech instrument. 😁
Hey Mischa, what a great idea to add this channel which will be a MUST for me as a parttime commercial add-on student!! Having followed your Pilot Yellow channel for the past years and will keep doing so 👍!
How about a pic in pic of a close up of the instruments? That way we can see the instruments easily. The pic can be in the bottom left or right corner. Thanks.
The gold is in what's being said and shown and the power settings are being clearly stated. What a G2's instruments are reading in this particular scenario is kinda irrelevant (other than what you can see already).
Hi guys! I'm a huge pilot yellow fan and I'm so excited about the new channel and more content!! Really looking forward to meeting the other instructors and more students! 😊
Cant wait to see this channel blow up! Future videos maybe contain some maintenance specs, student progress interviews, preflight briefings and maybe specific exercise break downs??!!!
Coming over from Pilot Yellow. Most of what I originally saw from Pilot Yellow were the instructional videos and thoroughly enjoyed them. Mischa, you're very similar to the man that instructed me during my primary training and that has brought back a lot of very fond memories. You're a different person and personality but you're teaching styles have a lot in common. I've really appreciated that. Thanks for letting us know about this channel. I'm looking forward to following along. In the mean time, Pilot Yellow is still definitely on the list, particularly following the Hill story!
Visiting from Pilot Yellow. Started learning to fly on the Schweizer 300 a few years ago but became too expensive to continue . Happy to see this... brings back memories.
I came over from pilot Yellow channel! I'm a student pilot (22hrs R22) and filmmaker. I'm working on creating a my channel which will follow my entire training journey with Rogue Aviation in Orange County SNA California! I've always loved your content, learned so much from it, and you've done a great job of making helicopter TH-cam content really enjoyable to watch! So much of your content has truly helped in my training journey and I'm deeply grateful for all the work you've put into your videos! It is the benchmark for the videos I'm working on too! I should have my first 10 flight lessons up to learning to Auto here on TH-cam in the next month or so.
Here from Michigan and the Pilot Yellow channel. This is a great addition to BC Helicopter for information and entertainment! I look forward to the new content.
Here from Pilot Yellow, nd subscribed. Keep us thinking, alert and safe. I was hoping to see Sanch in the air again. A little less cutting next time, please; it was too good to leave so much of it "on the cutting room floor".
Sancho is the the best. I took my discovery flight with him. So much fun!
Mischa, all the best on this new channel for BC Helicopters. It will be great to be able to see Sancho, Sam, and the rest of the team!
We’ll keep both channels of course!
Happy and safe flying my friend!🚁🚁

Heading is hard to keep if the aircraft is out of trim. Yarn should always be straight up except for landing.
