We Need to Tell Them Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.” -Hebrews 3:15- The story is told of an attorney who was trying to deliver an important document to a man who was determined to avoid him. The man reasoned that it was a subpoena of some kind, and he went out of his way to dodge it. Fourteen years passed, and the man found himself lying in a hospital, dying of cancer. Through a strange chain of events, the attorney was sick also, and the two men ended up sharing the same hospital room. The dying man turned to the attorney and said, “Well, you never got me! I escaped you all this time, and now it doesn’t matter. You can go ahead and serve your subpoena. I don’t even care.” Subpoena?” the attorney replied. “I was trying to give you a document that proved you had inherited 45 million dollars!” People can be the same way when it comes to the Christian faith. They go out of their way to escape a relationship with Jesus Christ. They go out of their way to avoid Christians. As a result, their hearts get harder. And they just might go too far. People reject Jesus because they don’t know of all that He offers. They don’t know of His great promises. That is why we need to tell them. That is why we need to go out of our way to tell people about the love of God. So let’s keep praying, and let’s keep trying to reach these people. You may even know someone who seems as though they have a hardened heart beyond the point of no return. Take heart. Think of Saul of Tarsus, whose conversion was so radical and unexpected that the first-century Christians thought it was some kind of trap in which he was trying to infiltrate their ranks. They didn’t believe that God could save someone who was as wicked, hostile, and against the church as Saul of Tarsus was. But then Saul of Tarsus became known as Paul the apostle. You may know someone who seems so hardened and so far gone. Keep praying, because God could reach them. Or maybe there has never come a moment in your life when you’ve personally asked Jesus Christ to forgive your sin. You know about God, but you don’t really know Him. If you know something to be true and don’t respond to it, that can harden your heart. The Bible tells us, “Remember what it says: ‘Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled” (Hebrews 3:1) If you don’t yet know Jesus Christ in a personal way, then do something about it immediately. Now is the time. If you keep putting it off, there will come a day when you won’t hear from God anymore, because you will have hardened your heart irreparably. Yes, there is a point of no return. Don’t let it happen to you. Don’t live another day outside of God’s will and His purpose and His blessing for you.
I know (not so well) a lot of martial arts, and by far muay thai is the most “angry”. They are fucking beast capable of breaking 4 leg with a low kick, savage.
You can step into the kick to smother the power and catch the leg. Especially if someone does a very slow and wide switch kick like this. Or you could just lean back since you can see it coming a mile away.
@@ultradevon04 fighting is dynamic lol. He will fake you out a couple of times. Go low with half power. Fake High and you're gone. Fighters at that level have loads of ways to make it work on npc's
@@LeyendasDelCrimen kicks are telegraphed differently, plus with a switch that wide he'll get swept in less time than necessary for that kick to reach half the distance

People will think that’s how you kick in a fight and it’s not, you switch kick much shorter so you don’t train the read for opponent. Really important for beginners to understand.
@@ethanrogers9627 TH-cam is the main way for me atleast. When you go to a class really think about the skills you have learned and then use TH-cam for reference, watch technique breakdowns and how the moves are put together and then practice them in class, speak to your teacher, question what you’ve seen on the internet to see if your teacher can put it into context, don’t train too hard, don’t get hurt. That’s about it really. P.s. I’m not advanced at all, I’ve only been training about 6 months but I’ve done other arts as well and apply the different training methods again for which you can probably find within the expert Thai boxing trainers out there.
@@ethanrogers9627Some key basics I would always teach to new comers. 1. Train yourself to keep your eyes up when hitting the bag and sparring, looking down when leg/ body kicking is a really easy and common mistake to make, and it telegraphs where you’re thinking of hitting, get used to being able to throw leg and body shots while keeping your eyes trained on the head and shoulders of the opponent. 2. Keep it basic especially to begin with, get really used to the basic fundamental strikes and foot placement first and only add fancy stuff after. 3. Focus on technique, then speed, then power. Because if we think about hitting hard we stiffen up whereas a relaxed loose body throwing quality technique will give us our speed and power. 4. This is something I see a LOT of guys neglect: stretch and train mobility/ flexibility always. At 33 years old I can still kick above 6ft because I never neglect joint mobility and muscle flexibility and that loose mobility will make the hip turn over much easier and more fluid for punches and kicks. Hope that helps in some way 👍
Nope, it's just form for the kicks and conditioning. You should see videos of when their "steel" shins give out, OUCH! Bones can heal but aren't muscles. They are going to take a long time to heal. Ask any doctor, and he may tell you leg is never same again after damage.

The switch kick is an awesome technique.. I wasn't good with the high kicks but focused mostly on leg kicks and dealing with kicks since my sensei was a 4th degree Blackbelt in kyukushin. Awesome round house but he always taught that if you step that far and jump that high then that technique can be your downfall. Jump less and make the switch shorter and you have more in real time success aspecially if you not good at kicking above a certain point. Very effective for an angled step off and changing back and forth between legs body and head. And very tricky technique when used right. You'll see fighters like gsp Wonderbra and adysanya use this to even blitz with punches. Which is how Jorge masvidal uses his switch kick setup to step in opposite stance and correct back to his natural stance to cause confusion from punches. A good switch stance/ switch kick can be simple and basic but one of the nastiest techniques and bests the best even today
Love them kick i am in taekwondo amd home training muay thai kicks and punches and everything love this sport respect and thanks for the tutorial i use this kick at the liver
There is no way that you won't be vulnerable while attacking. It's just you have to be Quick to move or come back to defensive position. While attacking a fighter always risks it's defense.
I just tried that, I think the speed was pretty good, but damn, I felt tingles in my whole leg. Need to remember to never do that without a proper warmup.

I only kick under knees, my legs don't move so much higher anyway, a limited flexibility but this is a world of specialization so I can only kick at the same place like a specialist can only do one thing good.
Its like you're a marionette, you have to pull the strings on your arms to snap the kick forward with momentum. Imagine youre pulling your strings with your hands, yank the strings so that your kick whips when you kick
Can you do this while preserving a guard with your left arm? Aren't you leaving the left side of your face vulnerable? I know your opponent will likely be responding to the kick (shouldn't have time to hit you) but my (not Muay Thai) teachers would get onto us if we dropped guard to throw a kick. Either way, that's a powerful kick I would not want to be in the way of! :D
I feel like these guys overlook what the bad athletes (like me) get stuck on. Everything hes saying is right of course, but also remember to relax your abs when your stepping and contract them inwards AND twisting when you kick. I always overfocused on the hands and feet but my core was tight the whole time and the energy couldnt flow into the bag.
Imagine your hands are kettlebells, swing the kettlebells so that when you kick the kick whips harder because of your hand's additional momentum. Like doing a flip, your arms will need to be used to swing your momentum. In this case youre twisting your momentum instead of flipping it
I’m new to Muay Thai (of course I’m not to talk) the problem is with having your hand left or right hand down is I n a street fight if you are fighting a experienced fighter or in a event you can get countered. Now of course all fighting sports and martial arts have their own flaws.
I tried to stand on my tip toe but I just lose my balance and my power when I kick. I feel more comfortable having my all feet on the floor and kick with the other leg. Why is it more efficient to stand on the tip toe ? Is it obligatory?

People will think that’s how you kick in a fight and it’s not, you switch kick much shorter so you don’t train the read for opponent. Really important for beginners to understand.
I'm just a beginner. 4 classes in. Could you maybe share some other important tips most beginners learn too late?
Hope that helps in some way 👍
Man, in Muay Thai, their kicks' impact is all based in the shin area. That bone and the elbow, it's like it's made out of metallic or steel.

Thank you! Very succinct! 😊😊😊😊
Perfect because I like to crowd kicks so every round kick will always hot too far and your hands are down thank you!

People can be the same way when it comes to the Christian faith.
The Bible tells us, “Remember what it says: ‘Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled”
(Hebrews 3:1)
If you don’t yet know Jesus Christ in a personal way, then do something about it immediately. Now is the time. If you keep putting it off, there will come a day when you won’t hear from God anymore, because you will have hardened your heart irreparably.
Yes, there is a point of no return. Don’t let it happen to you. Don’t live another day outside of God’s will and His purpose and His blessing for you
Great instructions

Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.”
-Hebrews 3:15-
The story is told of an attorney who was trying to deliver an important document to a man who was determined to avoid him.
I don’t even care.”
Subpoena?” the attorney replied. “I was trying to give you a document that proved you had inherited 45 million dollars!”

Go back and watch his fight against Shannon Forrester. Yoddecha’s Muay Thai is beautiful to watch.
Pretty big calves for a guy his size, and the insertions / tendon thickness is crazy. That’s what happens when you train MT constantly and you are going on your tiptoes to high kick
My shins feel more conditioned after watching this
it might be slow but that's only because hes working and showing the dynamics of the kick and it clearly says power high head kicks with ALiL speed and sleight of hand me and everyone in the comments would go night night.💤
How you train your body? Weight or only bodyweight exercises ?
Notice the snap. Bring ur knee up and slap with you calf. Try to do it under water. Youll fly through the air faster, less reaction time
Not you sensei
Amazing!

Kru Lui is one of the best!
This guy doesn't need to switch. Just walking into people is likely to leave them crippled
Looks like a dangerous dance
This definitely will send me to see my ancestors in the afterlife
Scary af right there.
Built like a tank
Damn hea the real deal
I hope I can kick like you oneday :) I still can't do heady kick due to my flexibility matter :B
Dude legs is crazy
Scary good
Muay Thai Warrior.
I wonder if people here have any idea how good this fighter is.
Что за ноги у этого монстра💪
🔥
Can you do this while preserving a guard with your left arm? Aren't you leaving the left side of your face vulnerable? I know your opponent will likely be responding to the kick (shouldn't have time to hit you) but my (not Muay Thai) teachers would get onto us if we dropped guard to throw a kick.
Either way, that's a powerful kick I would not want to be in the way of! :D
One casual kick from this guy can put you out for a week or month
Magnus carlsen became a miay thai instructor after retiring
I feel like these guys overlook what the bad athletes (like me) get stuck on. Everything hes saying is right of course, but also remember to relax your abs when your stepping and contract them inwards AND twisting when you kick.
I always overfocused on the hands and feet but my core was tight the whole time and the energy couldnt flow into the bag.
Best way to telegraph your kicks 🎉
Damn his legs
Powerful but highly telegraphed…TKD roundhouse kicks takes it ❤Mauy Thai❤
Good Thai fighters do not typically throw naked kicks. He's just showing the technique. He is a monster at landing the neck kick.
Bro's Calf !
Is it the same when throwing the lower leg kick ?
I didn’t understand anything but I understood everything
Imagine your hands are kettlebells, swing the kettlebells so that when you kick the kick whips harder because of your hand's additional momentum. Like doing a flip, your arms will need to be used to swing your momentum. In this case youre twisting your momentum instead of flipping it
His kick sounded like a bomb exploding.
❤❤❤❤❤
I’m new to Muay Thai (of course I’m not to talk) the problem is with having your hand left or right hand down is I n a street fight if you are fighting a experienced fighter or in a event you can get countered. Now of course all fighting sports and martial arts have their own flaws.
muay thai fighters know how to fight with the hands low, they are the best at fighting with the hands low
The opponent need to block the kick, have no chance to do things.
Buen madrazo
I tried to stand on my tip toe but I just lose my balance and my power when I kick.
I feel more comfortable having my all feet on the floor and kick with the other leg.
Why is it more efficient to stand on the tip toe ? Is it obligatory?
Pull the handle answer the pH ,it all in the hips oooweee
Hell yeah
