Replacing Ignition 1987 Toyota Pickup - How I fixed my ignition after it was punched out by a thief!

A video highlighting how I rigged my ignition in a 1987 Toyota pickup/hilux after it was stolen and the ignition was punched out and ruined. I had to find a replacement part "lock cylinder barrel rod" and then order a new ignition assembly and key.

Hope this helps someone out there. Good luck finding a barrel rod if yours is missing....I couldn't source them anywhere and got lucky with a friend's mechanic who happened to have the piece from a 86 yota

AND thats why you have a hidden kill switch... and the morons that stole your truck could have just removed 2 screws to the ignition switch and not punch the lock.....They are really easy to pick to....My 87' has 2 kill switchs....Your going to have to tow it to steal it...Thanks for the vid
