- Brett "Mad Dog" Banasiewicz has worked his way to the top of the BMX industry over these past few years. Following his first-ever win in a professional BMX park competition at the Dew Tour Beach stop in Ocean City, Maryland -- Mad Dog has won many BMX dirt competitions -- he was off to claim a second win at the Vans LXVI Invitational as the crowd favorite to take all. During a practice session, Mad Dog fell on a cash roll attempt and suffered serious injuries requiring him to be placed into a medically induced coma -- Brett's medical staff expects a full recovery. Now, nearly a month later, Mad Dog is still on the mend but his friends from the industry are ready for him to return. Check in with Chad Kerley, Ryan Nyquist, Anthony Napolitan, James Foster, Pat Laughlin and Jamie Bestwick as they all wish their dear friend, Brett Banasiewicz, a speedy recovery in this segment of Inside Alli Sports.

This makes me so sad man, I'm the same age as Brett and I grew up watching the Dew Tour and this kid just came on the scene and started ripping up the whole bmx scene. It was honestly so inspiring.

Wow. 23 people really had the audacity to dislike this? This man suffered a life threatening injury and he is giving his all to recover and get back on his bike. Brett, as a fan of you and your BMX riding I just want to say that you are one of the best talents i've seen in the BMX scene in a long time and Im wishing you a speedy recovery. We're all praying for you dude!! Stay strong!!!
Brett, since you started so young, you've inspired me to BMX and you inspire me everyday to get on my bike and ride. Everybody loves you and is praying for you! So get better soon man! Can't wait to see you back on bike conquering the world of BMX!
Very nice well done video for Brett. I first met him when he was 10 yrs old at a Mishawaka Festival. Brett was doing bike tricks with his group. I was with the Scouts I work with. We had a climbing tower & zip line. Between his performances Brett was at our area on our zip line & climbing wall. I never forgot him & could tell he was an outstanding kid who would achieve great things. I'm very proud of Brett for all he's accomplished. He's always in my prayers. Get well quickly Brett.
I no longer ride, I was forced to grow up, full time job and other responsibilities drifted me away, but i watch as many BMX videos as I can in my spare time.. it’s beautiful to see bmx riders helping each other out instead of hating, is good to see good people in the scene of bmx

Brett is my hero i look up to him so much, i really cant wait for him to fully recover which will hopefully be very very soon. I hope one day i can be even half the rider Brett was and will be after his recovery. Best of luck to you in your recovery Brett can't wait to see you back on your bike.
