brett and Scotty are such strong individuals I mean true role models
I met Brett at his skatepark in South Bend one time while skating. He was skating too so I had no idea it was actually him because I had never seen him on TV or online before. He was so cool and relaxed and had no ego so I couldn't even tell it was him until he said something about maybe changing the layout of the park on one side and I was like "holy crap, this is the awesome dude that owns the park and he is so chill". A humble guy and an awesome athlete. Get well soon man!

It brings tears to my eyes just watching this. I am so incredibly proud of how much progress Brett has made and how hard he works. His strength is so inspiring and I will forever be a fan.

This is really sad, but awesome at the same time. It just goes to show how fast you can get knocked down and have everything taken away from you...but if you've got the motivation you can get right back up on the road to recovery. Can't wait to see one of the best riders I've ever seen back in the game. Stay strong Brett.

brett has been through so much he didnt deserve...he went from being the best bmx park rider in the world to having brain problems. he got injured doing what he loves. i hope he gets right back onto his bike and shuts down the fucking world like he used to. its going to take hard work but brett, i know you can do it buddy!!!
i don't ride bmx but banasiewicz's talent is unreal . wishing him and his family the best through his recovery and going forward . hopeful he'll be able to ride again . an inspiration nonetheless : )
