Great video! My young Hass tree has Persia mites too. So difficult to control, nothing seems to work.

Hey bud just got into the idea of growing some fruit trees, especially avocado's my house is in Bonita and I'm worried cause there's lots of clay, should I just make a mound to plant the trees in? Where do you recommend I buy the 24 inch box ones from? Or do you feel the 15 gallons survive better? Thanks for any input man!

Yes you should mound the tree. Either a 24 inch box tree or a 5 Gallon tree is what I recommend. I've had better success with both in comparison yo 15 gallons trees. Most 5 gallon trees will catch and surpass the 15 in 1-2 years. They tend to produce earlier for me as well. Look at Maddock nursery in Fallbrook hut make sure you go to the growing grounds and nit the mail store.. they have the best deals on all sizes and they carry a lot of varieties.. thanks for watching

Will, you have so many nice varieties, what are the 5 you like most? Have you taste tested all of these? You are very busy with all you have going on. Thanks for your videos. - Neal in Anaheim

@@ocneal In no particularly order I like Nabal, Reed, Kahalu'u, Lamb Hass, and Fuerte. I find that flavor is very subjective but I like Nabal the best, followed by Fuerte. These are all great tasting though
