It resonates with much that I'd like to share a piece I've written which parallels his message as it relates to the environment today and God's purpose for our lives. This Is the Day the Lord Has Made Let Us Rejoice and Be Glad in it. Psalm 118-24 Below is a written expression I posted this morning and I wanted to share it with you all. Please let me know your thoughts. ❤️ "There seems to be so much uncertainty and discomfort in the atmosphere regarding the policy and tax changes that are before us. This is what happens when people don't take voting seriously. It's unfortunate, but we're witnessing the residue from lack of interest, lack of knowledge and lack of participation, in personal awareness, personal development, and passive thinking. People across this country don't take an interest in what's going on around them and in doing, so people get voted into office who are selfish, self-serving and who are only interested in laws for their own families, their own inheritances and their own interests. Although they're holding government positions, meant to serve the public, in the public's best interest, they're acting on the public's lack of interest, and take advantage of them/us. Realistically, there's no way in the world these types of corrupt, racist, and bias people, should continue to get voted into congress, year after year after year! It saddens me and will now hurt more than 80% of families across the country, and across the world. Because of a few, wealthy, greedy people, who are not people persons or lovers of humanity, many people's lives, unfortunately will be changed, and not for the better. But let me leave you all with this, God is still on His throne and He is still in control! We may not fully understand why these things are happening but we must stay encouraged believing that He's above ALL men. I believe in my heart that these things may be happening to test our faith, forcing us to seek and turn to God and to remember, He's our Source and our Resource! We've been depending on man and these systems to guide and provide, for our livelihoods and families, for too many years. It's time for us to seek and discover our individual assignments and purposes in life. The individual gifts that God has blessed us with, is where our individual wealth lies. Find your gift and refine your gift! (God + God's gift/assignment/purpose for our life and existence = Personal wealth) I'm praying and developing myself daily so that I can position and maximize into the person I was created to be. My prayer is to be blessed so that I can be a blessing to others! This may come by way of education, financial literacy, financial freedom and abundance, but ultimately, drawing men to God, from His light, that shines through me. People will see my elevations and blessings in life, knowing and realizing that they had to come from God, because there's no way I could do it in my own! We must take ownership of our faith, our spiritual relationships with God and become all that He has designed us to be! This world doesn't want to see us succeed but with God, we can all succeed! This is why Jesus came and the meaning behind the cross! The victory is already ours! He came not only to redeem us, but so that we could have life and have it more abundantly! "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." John 10:10 (EST) Not what we're hearing! We've already won! We must no longer live in fear, worry and be stressed out from what we're seeing and what we're reading. I stay informed and I keep up with changes but it's not what I feed on. We must study and replenish our minds with positive information and reading materials that will enhance the way we think and value our lives. This is what having self-value and self-worth means. We need to learn all we can about what's happening, i.e. the tax codes, tax laws, and all the business/ financial policies they're issuing. Let's learn how we're able to either, benefit from the changes, or how we're able to unite, participate and be involved, in future changes or how we're able to make things better for all of us, through Christ Jesus!
